Won't be able to get into the air force with spelling like that.
How old are you?
Getting into the Air Force, USAF or otherwise, is no cakewalk. They want the creme de la creme, simply the BEST there is. They don't want no idiot flying their nice shiny new jets, they want people who excel in all aspects of physical and pychological state. If you're serious about being a pilot for the Navy or the USAF or whatever, get your grades and do really good at everything, their aptitude tests will tear you apart..
Retiring at 42? Aheh. No.. They like to keep you for as long as possible in the air force, they train their guys to hell so they want to get their monies worth...
Being a Pilot requires you being strong and fit and have a good mental state. You have to be smart. Don't forget that.

I was in RoTC For three years, I enjoyed it, I met a lot of awesome people and the Sargent was awesome there. I had a fuck ton of fun, I'd join it.
Very slim chance you'll become a pilot though.
You have to be an officer to be a pilot, you need a degree to be an officer. Pick a different AFSC so you can go to school and still have a job, then transfer into a pilot's position. Good luck, I'm going in as a Cryptologic Linguist for the Air Force.
have fun doing paperwork during your stay in the air force. thats all you're gonna do.

Haha. Good luck with that.
Becoming an Airforce pilot is one of the toughest things you can do in the military.
I started training to be a pilot when I was 14 years old and currently have my license and am planning on joining the airforce. From a personal experience it's not that difficult go for it.
Retirement at 42 because you'll get shot down :v:
ROTC won't get you into the Air force..
Be a Pararescueman.
Wow... the american military is misleading the common folk.

Actually, college ROTC can help you get into the Air force.
It's not that difficult to get into the Air force, but becoming a pilot is another thing.
i also plan on joining the airforce out of highschool so good luck, i want to go into becoming an aerial gunner on an ac130, they dont actually shoot the ac130's guns lol best example i can give you is the guy in the cod4 mission you hear yell READY after each shot

what the hell
do you mean a loader
You must be able to withstand up to 10/11Gs of gravitational pull and force, and master the technique of pushing and controlling blood flow throughout your body through the use of muscle tension. You need to have blood pressure so sufficient you won't cut out at 7Gs, and excellent body control. If you black out, or experience 'curtains' where a blackout seems imminent, they won't let you in.
Being a jet pilot and helicopter pilot are two completely different things, and you won't be able to retire at 41. They want the best.
Being a pilot sucks.

So you want to join because you liked a role in a video game?

If you really want to fly, you could also consider joining the Navy. They have more aircraft than the Air Force has, believe it or not.

Why do you think half the people in high schools want to join the military?
no not that at all, its just a position that interests me, and see aerial gunners in the united states airforce either become helicopter door gunners or ac130 weapons loaders, personally id rather be on the ac130, there are other jobs to choose from and i may change my mind, but its just what im interested in at the moment

Then you gotta go Navy. They do the majority of the combat flying.

Well if that's the case I dread to think how'd they behave when they're given a real automatic assault rifle.
