Custom cars that I make up...usualy I get the best ideas at 2am and in school in the middle of tests...

I have some drawing problems...my frends say that the cars are bent and that they have flat tyres...what are you gonna do.... :D

They look horrible. Everything is very wonky, you can't really draw cars freehand.
Colours look bad and material definition looks worse, everything is very undetailed, bland and boring.
The car design looks so generic future smoothroundbutt and first cars face looks like a spesss muhreen.
What you've done is futurised WV beetle and done it as wonkily and slopply as possible.
Put more time in your drawings learn a thing or two about perspective and [b]Use a ruler[/b]. Cars are really straightfoward things to draw.
also people tell here not to sign your stuff, you don't really have to listen to them but you just look stupid if you slap your signature on everything.
Look into reference images and try to draw from life. You can't draw from head if you don't have anything in there.
But your lineart is nice straight and true, but use darker values.
Oh and you're pmuch a cunt.
That first car would drag on the road while you drive it.
Also you seem to be more of a stylist then a designer since all you've been thinking when drawing these is how it looks (and you screwed that up too since your perspective isn't right, you should use lines to help you).
So you haven't been thinking at all about how it would drive, wind resistance and you know the fact that the car needs to not touch the ground everywhere only the wheels.
That part is really funny to me.
But I definitely think you should not quit. Go find some books on this subject or read up on the internet.
Cause if you have a passion of drawing cars you really should start learning everything about them and who knows, maybe you'll have a career out of this one day.
But you [B]need to start learning the basics, you can not draw a car if you can not even draw a round circle. So my advice to you is to start at the basics, it'll make the rest easier.
It also helps if you're nice to people. No one wants to hire an ass who thinks he's god.[/B]

Buy this, you won't regret it. Scott Robertson is a fantastic car designer and teacher from what I hear, and you can't go wrong with Gnomon. If you're serious about drawing cars, this is a great resource and worth the money.
Practice perspective as much as you can. Start by learning to project simple objects in 3d space, cubes, spheres, pyramids, etc.
I go to a computer school where we do php mysql and stuff...
This was drawn in my free time, I dont got a book about drawing nor a tutor or anything....
And for Detlef, MenteR and DOG-GY. GIVE ME A BREAK...I didn't post this here so you can say that it is crap and not worth signing... At least tell me what to fix not just say that its crap...

And Nyaa - its a concept car. None of the concept cars are made realistic.
All I know perspective drawing is houses...cars are a whole new level...
What about the Idea of the car...the light the side and stuff... is it any original? My friends say it looks like a R8.(the 1st one)

learn to take CRITIQUE. why did you even post here? to only get praise? that isn't how it works.
You need to be able to be critical about your own work, see your own mistakes and so far I don't think you are able to, so other people are pointing it out!
remember this is not a personal attack on YOU as a person, but a critical evaluation of your artwork. we can see the mistakes more clearly than you do.
So listen what people have to say and stop deflecting

I go to a computer school where we do php, mysql, c#, java and stuff. Probably something like your school.
I draw in my spare time and not one of my friends draw or even notice the mistakes I make when I draw.
That's why I show them to my brother and this forum.
And when I come to post my shit here and get critiqued, sure I feel bad cause I thought the drawing was better and sure I may think up an excuse or two.

The perspective on cars is exacly the same and I can tell you fluked the house perspective as well.
Actually I'd say if you were younger than like, i dunno 15 then this is pretty good!

round things act exacly as similliarly square ones.
Just use a cross shape to construct the sphere and it becomes easier. Measure it to get proper proportions.
Or just build it inside a cube.
