SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - Three Texas death row inmates claim the state plans to execute them by experimenting with new drugs, never used for such a purpose, that were obtained under false pretenses, attorneys told Reuters on Wednesday. Texas is turning to the new execution drugs in a desperate attempt to keep the United States' most active execution chamber operating despite dwindling supplies of the drug traditionally used for lethal injections, a lawsuit filed by the inmates says. The inmates, one of whom is scheduled for execution on October 9, allege the Texas Department of Criminal Justice used the address of a hospital unit shuttered three decades ago in order to obtain the three new drugs. They say the drugs - propofol, midazolam and hydromorphone - would likely not have been supplied if the manufacturers knew the purpose they would be used for, according to a lawsuit filed this Tuesday in federal court in Houston. http://my.chicagotribune.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-77638291/
Basically Texas is desperate to keep executing people, the drugs they are allegedly testing would be nothing short of what a junkie would experience while overdosing, something that's not fun at all from what I hear from OD survivors
They should just inject liquid freedom
That certainly can't be legal can it?
That certainly can't be legal can it?
That's why they're being sued
They should kill people with the most wicked trip through time and space drugs can possibly provide.
Godammit, Texas. This is just really shady - I mean wanting to execute these criminals in the first place but damn..
That certainly can't be legal can it?
Most likely and the supreme court could put a stay on all executions in the state.
They should kill people with the most wicked trip through time and space drugs can possibly provide.
Dude this almost happened to me last night after some kid supposedly sold us molly. I ended up taking 150mg of 2ci, a drug that is normally active at around 12mg. Let me tell you that killing somebody with a strong trip like that would be inhumane as fuck. Butthurt straight edge kids got hate
Texas justice system is bloodthirsty.
That certainly can't be legal can it?
Well they're already committing murder so why should they care if it's legal?
seriously why don't they just shoot them it's fucking pathetic that they're even attempting to look humane when they're executing people in the same manner we'd kill animals do not try and clothe murder with drugs
It's weird how we claim to be the birthplace of the modern world but really france figured out how to go without this shit in 1977.
They should just inject liquid freedom
It frees you from your body, does that count?
Haha, wow, my state is still bloodthirsty as fuck with executions. Saddens me.
It's weird how we claim to be the birthplace of the modern world but really france figured out how to go without this shit in 1977.
And France was pretty late to that party.
Honestly I know I'm an untraveled, British know-it-all entitled piece of shit 21yr old who think he has all the answers... but looking at America's current issues from the outside is fucking hilarious, maddening, and depressing, all at the same time. Guys, I really do hope things get better over there! While over here in "Great" Britain we 're still in a Monarchy lol you have to name your child in 48 days or you get sued.
seriously why don't they just shoot them it's fucking pathetic that they're even attempting to look humane when they're executing people in the same manner we'd kill animals do not try and clothe murder with drugs
I for one support the return of classic execution techniques, such as the guillotine and being hung by the neck until death. [sp]jk i dont condone death penalities[/sp]

Honestly, I'm for the death penalty for some cases, but this is just ridiculous. As that guy said above, may as well just shoot them.
It's weird how we claim to be the birthplace of the modern world but really france figured out how to go without this shit in 1977.
Then again, France was still using the guillotine. Sounds a lot more brutal than lethal injection or even getting shot. (Not that I'm defending this shit, just pointing things out)
-snip- nevermind, this is really off topic.
just shoot them in the fucking face
seriously why don't they just shoot them it's fucking pathetic that they're even attempting to look humane when they're executing people in the same manner we'd kill animals do not try and clothe murder with drugs
firing squad iirc is only available in some states as a second option how about they just get rid of the death penalty and give them a life sentence?
firing squad iirc is only available in some states as a second option how about they just get rid of the death penalty and give them a life sentence?
Cost of keeping people in prison is too high. America literally cannot afford to be this corrupt how embarrassing.

You take such a small amount of acid that even if its not what I think it is ill be fine and shrooms are literally mushrooms and I know what they should look like. I don't fuck with anything in pill form I just cant trust it.
seriously why don't they just shoot them it's fucking pathetic that they're even attempting to look humane when they're executing people in the same manner we'd kill animals do not try and clothe murder with drugs
I'd rather be shot than given a shot that makes me go to sleep and die. Getting shot in the heart would be pretty humane, as for a head shot. Heart shot with a high power rifle with hollowpoint rounds and it's instant lights out, hydrostatic shock will induce a massive stroke through the brain and cause unconsciousness instantly. Plus it's better for open casket funerals than for headshots. But it's even better to do neither.
Cost of keeping people in prison is too high. America literally cannot afford to be this corrupt how embarrassing.
Subjecting people to the death penalty simply because it's not economical to give then a more humane sentence is horrifying.
firing squad iirc is only available in some states as a second option how about they just get rid of the death penalty and give them a life sentence?
Life sentence is only 40 years and it doenst sit well with tax payers that they are paying to keep criminals alive
Haha, wow, my state is still bloodthirsty as fuck with executions. Saddens me.
Rick Perry said that Texas has never killed an innocent person. I believe him completely.
