I rarely ever eat meat on choice, unless I'm at a family meal. The thing about this video, is that maggots aren't parasites, though I will believe that the butchery leaves flies flying around. Shouldn't matter though, you cook it, and cook it right, you won't even taste it, maggots just provide the extra protein.

Which can be said about all meat, flies aren't pork specific :downs:, so you will most likely find these 'maggots' in other meat.
I'm just going to go with the "It's just extra protein" argument. I have never been particularly picky of what I eat. I can not quit meat though because animals are just too delicious. When animals stop tasting good I'll become a vegetarian.
Shit even eating bugs alone doesn't sound too bad. Just not cockroaches.

I get my meat at the locak butcher's. This crap from the supermarked is not

Also there are no maggots in pork that has been packaged correctly, if it is a professional company/butcher doing it you have clean meat.

Also, we've been eating pork and other meats for thousands of years; if this makes you stop eating meat, that's your loss. It's not going to do anything to you unless you eat it raw, which is just plain mental.

actually it's quite a good idea to pour certain sodas on certain meats.
Try cooking ham in gingerale, orange soda, 7-sup, or doctor pepper. VERY good! Plus certain sodas will crystallize and even caramelize on the meat.

This looks fake, but pork CAN contain flukes (flatworms) that can get into your liver and do damage.
Therefore, it is important to cook pork thoroughly. No rare pork chops.
