HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH He said he was out of bullets!
I like how they skipped all the stupid FBI warnings and trailers and all that garbage
I came into this thread expecting a 3 foot diameter DVD that actually plays on a DVD player. I must be pretty tired if I read the title as that.
No, you just have lots of imagination.
Not pictured: Reality and effort
You don't have to watch the torrent download :v:
This ad is more retarded than me.
253 hours for a single movie? These advertisers have OBVIOUSLY never torrented
Hello. You haven't met me yet it seems. My name is streaming.
Modern dvd movies, 56k internet.
I laughed when they kicked back when they got the explosion
"So realistic!!!"
Is this a joke?

Seems real
[editline]17th April 2011[/editline]
Yep it is real
Sadly, it's more like this:

I can't put a DVD on my mobile device.
I've actually never seen a lot of DVDs that had unskippable trailers.
Haha I feel sorry for them, watching a movie at DVD quality.
I've downloaded videos (i didn't say a movie) in high definition with large file sizes (2gb - 4gb) from 30 mins to 3 hours. These people obviously don't know shit.
In fact, i downloaded a 700mb video film (again, not illegally pirating a movie), in the time it takes to try and skip through all of the shitty ad's they put before movies.
Someone doesn't know how to look for seeders :v:

Then what was it? :smug:
Sadly, it's more like this:

more like this:
pirate movie > watch it
rent movie for $1.00 > watch 10 second fbi bullshit > push the "top menu" button > watch movie
Then what was it? :smug:
obviously a school project
Do these videos even account for the fact that you can stream movies at Dvd quality? I mean that way you get it instantly and get the quality :v.
For an average DVD rip to take 253 hours, you would have to download it with 0.8 kB/s. That's 10 times as slow as GPRS, silly ad creators.
Then what was it? :smug:
Porn.
Movie Rental/DVD:
Pay $5 to $50 -> Hope you don't get a scratched DVD -> Skip through FBI and trailer bullshit -> Obnoxious Menu Transitions -> Movie.
Netflix Instant/Streaming:
Wait for it to fire up -> Hope it has the movie you want -> Buffer -> Watch -> Cross fingers that your net speed stays stable.
Torrent:
Wait anywhere between five minutes to a few hours for download -> Watch -> Deal with the quality you downloaded.
Even though pirating movies is illegal and can be too much hassle if you want Blu-Ray quality, you still deal with the least bullshit.
I also like how in the ad, the torrent-guy was in a dark room in the lonesome while the people who paid were all wonderfully lit and having so much fun in their colorful world. Stereotypes, man.
whoever made that ad should die

for me it's just run the 360 netflix, play movie, hope i don't accidentally hit the controller and kill the movie while it's streaming, if i do it goes back to the point i left off
253 hours ha.
I downloaded TF2 beta for SFM in under 10 minutes. Are the people making these ads stupid?
