Dungeons & Dragons: The Forum Game (Signup/Character Creation) - General

I am going to be running a game of 3.5 D&D through the forums, using pixel art for the game grid. I will be cutting some of the rules, but only the tedious ones, such as weight inventory. All players will need a copy of the 3.5 player's handbook, which I will be happy to supply a pdf of through PM. I'm looking for 4-6 non-disruptive, committed players. I am not a demon. Anyone in?

Is it going to be play by post or over skype?

I would play but I have no idea what to do.

Would you be willing to have me on?[/QUOTE] if you're willing to get past the initial learning curve, adjust to the idea of playing a fantasy game without a lump of plastic and strict limitations, number crunch like a boss and ignore the fact that this game its one of the #1 nerd games of all time then expect to have heaps of fun

I am willing to learn, but I've never played any sort of table top games so I don't really have to worry about having nothing to play with. Since this is MSPaint, I can just draw what I need to anyway. Number crunching is fine with me. Not worried about play a "nerd game," my nose is always in fantasy books anyway.

I'll play, haven't played before but I understand most of the rules, and this sounds like fun.

If you guys need props, characters, anything resized, I would be more than happy to help. (: I've done a lot of pixel art before, so weapons, and anything needed can be provided. This is to make your guy's game flow a bit faster because you won't take a million years waiting for someone to draw out their whole thing. I personally will not be participating in the actual game, but any drawing requests can be directed to me and I would be more than willing to help. (: Enjoy yourselves!

I love 3.5, I'm curious to see how this goes down. Be sure to post the character template for us to edit. :v: Also I have almost all the core rulebooks and supplements for 3.0, so if you need rules clarification I can provide. Also got Forgotten Realms Campaign materials.

Ooh, this looks fun! I honestly haven't played for over six years, so i'm just gonna count myself as one of the newbs to this, but if you have patience with me, i'd love to learn! Count me in! :)

I just busted out my D&D 2nd Edition books I got my Dungeon master's guide, Player's handbook, Monstous Compendium and the legends and lore book. I got this shit in the bag. [editline]15th August 2011[/editline] Good god! I just found my collection of complete handbooks. I got the fighter's, Wizard's, Priest's, Thief's and humaniods. Also i got a game Adventure for us to possibly play called "The Immortal Storm" (also my Dungeon Master's Design Kit)
