The despot (Gary Oldman) of a small, makeshift town plans to take possession of the book.
This film just looks awesome, saw it in the cinema when i went to see Avatar and I jizzed. It's being directed by the Hughes brothers. IMDB Page Some of the posters give off a religious vibe.
saw the preview when i went to see avatar too lol
Saw the trailer ages ago. Looks a little over the top, but I like the whole stylized drained out filter they got going. Could be good, could be fucking suck.
Fallout 3, the movie
Fallout 3, the movie
I thought The Road was Fallout 3: The Movie. All these awesome post-apocalyptic movies coming out all of a sudden...
It's like Eli from Half-Life 2.
Looks amazing!
Damn this looks awesome. Can't wait to see it :3:
I sense a religious theme rising.
Might be a good film, but man do I hate how every trailer plays out exactly the same nowadays. It always starts off with one sentence explaining some of the story, and then it's all speeding up with choirs and shit while stuff explodes and the heroes single-handedly Kung Fuing the fuck out of 5 bad guys.

Anything else would be boring.

I bet Eli dies at the end.
Well thats kind of obvious at the moment.
I don't think Denzel Washington doesn't really suit this movie, he doesn't really seem like the kick-ass awesome fighter dude that he is in it. Other then that it looks great :) Oh and Uwe Boll doesn't direct it, it's gonna be a flop.
I don't think Denzel Washington doesn't really suit this movie
what?
Who cares if it's slightly religious? Know who else played a slightly religious man? Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. That was a bad ass character, this can be too.
first part of the trailer reminded me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R (forest with gasmask)

it looks pretty cool, but the fighting scenes where it's just one guys fighting off a bunch of thugs like it's power rangers is kinda lame

Looks like a mix of stalker, fallout 3, the road, I am legend, 300 and wanted. (The bullet time sequences)
I thought The Road was Fallout 3: The Movie. All these awesome post-apocalyptic movies coming out all of a sudden...
The Road was actually a good book though. And The Road is nothing like Fallout. Just a fair warning.
Honestly, it looks a bit generic/uninteresting.
Gary Oldman? Are you shitting me Facepunch? [sp]Garry Newman[/sp] Eli from half-life? I smell a conspiracy and shit.
I sense a religious theme rising.
I think I saw a different trailer of this, and he is, in fact, protecting a bible that's the last remnant of past civilization or some bullshit like that
Who cares if it's slightly religious? Looks epic.
So the book is the G.E.C.K.? Is that it? This movie just makes me want to see another Mad Max movie coming out... Also, the fighting scenes looks really lame and that's usually bad in action movies when that happens.
