I was half-expecting the pirates to use the voice clips from the MEC team.
God damn do I miss playing BF2. Hell I would probably buy BF4 if they added a menu option to replace the default radio chatter with BF2's
BF2 still has a pretty big population though.
I have such strange mixed memories when it comes to BF2 - Half of them were in those special servers that forced communication and I have really fond memories of working together with squadmates (and not dying every 10 seconds like in BF3), and the other half were pretty much me and a friend camping jets and figuring out ways to prevent teammates from getting them.
One time on a server with team damage disabled, we discovered when using C4 that it would push the jets, so we set all our C4 in front of spawn when there were a bunch of guys going for the jet, and timed it perfectly so as soon as it spawned we blew both sets up at the same time.
The force was so powerful it blew the jet backwards fast enough for it to ram into the fence and blow up.
Now [I]that's[/I] teamwork.
Also the limited axes on helicopters in BF3/4 is bullshit. LET ME DO FLIPS DICE WHY DO YOU STOP ME.

You can do flips on it, I managed a flip once and avoided a missile but you have to be really fucking high up.
