I forgot that people here doesn't like The Simpsons. Nothing to see here folks.
I was depressed because of how long and drawn out it was.
I do, But I fail to see how it is depressing, at least not for me, it's an animation, you don't have to get all emotional over it.
It shows the sad thruth about merchandise production.
Also the music.
Weird.

The reason for art, and other forms of media, is to express emotion. The use of music, the use of dark imagery, and other such things, make this opening rather sad feeling. So I guess that is why you would feel sad at an animation; it's intended to try to emote you.
Its funny because its true
Very few of the new episodes entertain me, I want my 90s back.

There are two sad Futurama episodes. The most obvious being the dog one, but I also found the one where Leela is stung by a bee to be sad.

You're missing a few. Anyone remember Yancy Fry?
Reminds me of that Dead Bart creepypasta... :geno:
Brilliant showcase of dehumanization in the beginning

the guy on the left is Hakiro, the doorman at a Japanese restaurant as seen in the Mr Sparkle episode. Why is he with a whole bunch of Koreans?

I thought the one about Fry's nephew was sad, too...they had all 3 of those episodes on in a row one night. I wanted to just off myself from the depression.
