I haven't really taken a lot of pictures lately, But I recall that one point of great interest to me was animals and especially my lovely dog. So I decided I wanted to share the pictures I've taken between September and December and show you guys how awesome Life is. In case anyone is interested, these were all shot with a Nikon Coolpix s610 and edited in Lightroom.
Prepare to be told to post in the photography thread. I like them, though some of the post processing is overdone, for my taste. [editline]9th January 2011[/editline] I've always loved hedgehogs
I have to start by saying that you shouldn't use such thick borders, it really degrades the photo as a whole. As bopie said, some of your shots tend to be overdone in terms of post processing, especially the 'cone of shame' shot and the bee shot. Try to go easy on it. I have to say my favourite would have to be the spider. Also, since you seem to find great interest in your dog, experiment with other pictures you could take with it.
Yeah I know with the post processing. Editing photos is still something I'm mastering, though especially the Cone of Shame one was intended to look the way it does. I did consider to post in the photography thread, but I kinda felt I wanted to focus on sharing some love rather than asking for criticism. - Not that I don't want any, though.

I disagree with the points of overprocessing. I really enjoy the vibrant colors and the way you play with the soft and sharp focus. Some of these are fabulous. About the "Cute" one of your dog, though, I'd like to point out that his nose looks distorted in a bad way.
