Cheap sixties animation is, and always will be, the best.
...So why didn't he just magnet up the police officers' cars? Or their guns?

Oh dear lord good thing I was born in the right year (watches X-Men Evolution episode 1 again)
i've always wondered why old cartoons and comics were so full of exposition did they think the viewers were completely stupid?
i've always wondered why old cartoons and comics were so full of exposition did they think the viewers were completely stupid?
well, to be fair they usually don't make any sense and besides what do you think is easier to animate, someone doing things or someone talking?
and besides what do you think is easier to animate, someone doing things or someone talking?
yeah but what about comics? they were full of text - dialogue and otherwise - explaining events and actions that had already been depicted visually: very mild example
yeah but what about comics? they were full of text - dialogue and otherwise - explaining events and actions that had already been depicted visually: very mild example
remove the text can you really tell me you know exactly what's going on
i've always wondered why old cartoons and comics were so full of exposition did they think the viewers were completely stupid?
They thought their viewers were five, and subtlety wasn't something you learned until you were thirty.
i've always wondered why old cartoons and comics were so full of exposition did they think the viewers were completely stupid?
it makes sense in comics because you can't always tell what's happening, especially in older ones
yeah but what about comics? they were full of text - dialogue and otherwise - explaining events and actions that had already been depicted visually: very mild example
to be honest, before reading the text i thought superman was doing some weird spinning breakdance move in the ring and knocking the mummy guy away though that might be due to me being an idiot
i've always wondered why old cartoons and comics were so full of exposition did they think the viewers were completely stupid?
The script sounds like it was originally written for a radio show. That would explain the exposition, at least.
I love how the beats and pauses throughout the vid suggest that magneto's gotten full PTSD from that fight.
I love how the beats and pauses throughout the vid suggest that magneto's gotten full PTSD from that fight.
"...h- he tricked me with a w-wooden gun..." "And how did that make you feel, Magneto?" "I just felt so... powerless and worthless... *sobs*"
Grab the gun with your hands you ignorant fuck. :v: He's like a person who says they can't send a letter because the fax machine is broken.
