Yo.
It's like deja vu, I've got another neurofunk track I'm working on which will yet again appear on the collaborative album but is actually supposed going on an EP I'm working towards.
It's neurofunk drum and bass, it's still not entirely finished but it's getting close now. I was just hoping from some feedback and comments from your wonderful people <3
Latest version now out, completely revamped bass synth and a nice third drumstep drop.

Apologies for the gap at the start.
Merci pour vos commentaires
This is definitely an improvement from your previous neuro track, in my opinion the back synth should be drawn out a little more. As I was listening I couldn't really notice it unless I focused on it. Also, you had the perfect opportunity to end the chorus at 2:20 i feel like it was a bit stretched out, it would have also given the listener a better break instead of just jumping right back in.
Otherwise this is a great tune, drums were done quite well, I really liked the bass.

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate it and it's really, really helpful to me! I'll work on what you were suggesting, can you clarify by the back synth do you mean the melodic ones, or the pad from the start that goes the whole way through? the main issue I had with the melodic synths were that they got repetitive (and I'm a bit lazy), so I'll work on sorting that out first. Do you have any suggestions on ending the song?
I can't wait to get a couple more tracks finished, then I can go back to this and Chasm and make them all a thousand times better for an EP, it's going to be great to see how much I've progressed and the new techniques I've learnt.
I meant the synth you can mostly hear throughout the track from start to finish, it doesn't sound as alive as the rest of the track, maybe bring out the high ends a bit more.
By ending the song, do you plan to expand the second chorus or just leave it the same length and just change it? If you plan to leave it the same length I think the very last bass hit at 3:52 you should have the pitch slide down instead of just running the same pitch.

I was tempted to take it out entirely when the bass dropped, it'd be more neurofunk-esque but it might feel a little empty, I'l experiment a bit.
excellent drums my friend.

The bass modulation sounds really random to me, make it groove with the drums more instead of just doing a bunch of long notes and then gating it. Your filtering on your bass needs to work with the drums if you really want it to flow well.
