He was 50. Pinette died of natural causes Saturday at a hotel in Pittsburgh, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office said Sunday evening. Pinette's agent confirmed his death. The portly Pinette was a self-deprecating presence on stage, frequently discussing his weight on stand-up specials "Show Me the Buffett," "I'm Starvin'!" and "Still Hungry." Pinette had been working on another stand-up project when he died, his agent, Nick Nuciforo, said. "He should be celebrated for the amazing comedian he was," Nuciforo said.
I loved this guy's work. He was an incredibly funny comedian, and I'm a little upset that most people seem to only remember him as "the fat guy who got carjacked in the Seinfeld finale". I mean, it was a bit part from over a decade ago and he had done so much more before and after, yet that's how he'll be remembered to most people. Shame.
I think I can make a few guesses as to what "natural causes" is referring to.
Lotta famous deaths in the past few days. Eh they just people like you and, but with money.
I remember seeing one of this guy's stand up specials. Pretty funny. Sad to hear he's gone.
i just watched his stand-up special on netflix the other night, what a shame
Awww man this sucks, I remember the first time I heard his standup I was in the car listening to some comedy channel and I hear this; Needless to say I was laughing so fucking hard
He was rather funny. Remember watching a couple of his specials.
This guy was probably one of my favorite stand-ups. I liked him about as much as I like Robin Williams and George Carlin. I got pretty bummed when my friend told me this yesterday.
Holy shit my gf and I listened to his stuff during a 9 hour car ride He brought many laughs to us.

Damn. Used to listen to this guy on Pandora every night.
Real shame this guys dead. He was one of the first comedians to have an effect on me. His early work with Just For Laughs was some great, great comedy and had me in stitches quite a few times. The guy was a really talented comic in his own right and it's really sad to see him go. I'll always remember him in The Punisher though.
he was 50 though, how did he die of natural causes, that sucked
Apparently it was a pulmonary embolism, according to his manager. Unfortunately, it can strike suddenly at any age if you've had risk factors like obesity.
