Forgot to add in the title, they're #gamergate advocates.
Gamergate is literally the most basic movement ever. Its not hard to understand at all, but the bullshit from the corrupt journalists has somehow managed to fuck it up and confuse everyone.
1. A lot of games journalists are corrupt, and they get away with it because gamers are still a niche community where there isn't a large audience to get upset about it
2. People found out about the corruption and called the journalists out on it
3. The journalists are deflecting and defaming the people who called them out because they like being corrupt and don't want people to realize it
Its literally that simple.
I can't fucking stand that dude. He keeps interrupting and steering towards a subject that all three of them say is not what they want to talk about.
I think the interviewer is extremely good. I cringed when Jemma mentioned the Bayonetta 2 review though. I don't agree with their review, but reviews of entertainment media are inherently subjective. I care more about scientific accuracy in science fiction movies than most people and if I reviewed a movie that's exactly what I would mention and complain about. The interviewer brought up a really good counter argument too. As long as the bias of the reviewer is not kept secret it can still be a valuable resource when deciding if a game is for you or not. The only problem here is the score. Games can't be scored. It's an illusion. When I was a kid I used to read a gaming magazine that actually had a formula for calculating how good a game is. That's ludicrous and will never work, because it's inherently subjective.
I want to smack his hairplugs out.
come on, say it, say misogyny
