• Nothing is unnatural

So I hear quite often that we crazy humans do all of these unnatural things to our planet and that we're horrible and whatnot. Well I don't really understand that. It's as if these people don't consider us to be living creatures like any of the other countless species on Earth. I'm all for preserving the rainforests and whatnot, but I can also appreciate the beauty of a bustling metropolis. A house is no different than a bird's nest or a rabbit's den. Humans only have greater means with which to construct our homes and assets. We're simply capable of much greater feats of nature than other animals. I think many people have the idea that we are separate from all other living things; that we are fundamentally different somehow. We are not, we are merely on a much higher tier than all other species. Everything we do and create is still natural, and all man-made things can be perceived as natural. That's why I have trouble agreeing with someone who says these spectacular advancements we are making these days are going against the nature of the Earth. I argue that it is simply nature in a different form. I think human progression is far too widely-perceived as "evil", when it is just our species naturally evolving and adapting. "Natural" is kind of a useless adjective in my opinion, since there really isn't anything unnatural in existence.

This thread is unnaturally pointless
Bird's nests don't kill off other creatures by the thousands.
Bird's nests don't kill off other creatures by the thousands.
I don't see anything unnatural about creatures killing other creatures. And I prefer the term "displaced".
I don't see anything unnatural about creatures killing other creatures. And I prefer the term "displaced".
Displaced means moved, killed means killed. What we are doing to the planet is stupid, completely unnatural, and is only going to eventually make it uninhabitable unless we bring resources from elsewhere. That's all I have to say on the matter, if you disagree I don't care.
