Glory to our motorways. Full of wankers, how they got the licences I honestly don't know.
Last clip, I can kind of understand the driver's point. So you want him to move out of the fast lane so you can break the speed limit?
Last clip, I can kind of understand the driver's point. Here's a video Its just simple driver etiquette that most people simply don't understand. Nothing like being stuck behind 2 people doing the exact same speed on a 2 lane highway for miles.
No, the law is different in the UK. Sure, it's the "fast" lane, but if the driver in front is doing the maximum speed limit, you're literally getting pissed at their presence stopping you from breaking the law.
Is there a list of dashcam youtube channels because this shit is the best to watch when completely bored to the bones.
Is there a list of dashcam youtube channels because this shit is the best to watch when completely bored to the bones.
Haven't been able to find a list of them but there's thousands of them, some I follow are these https://www.youtube.com/user/WelshDrive https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOX6ftzHrXKkgrqZwtI7uGw https://www.youtube.com/user/DashCamOwnersAustral https://www.youtube.com/user/HaloMasterMind117 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWmZgjXV9gnoIDwgMh6U5Rg And if you want something a bit different, there's this guy who runs his own Repo firm and uploads literal hour long clips of him out doing his stuff, some of the shit he runs into is hilariously dumb https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQ7hVAuM_Bf4IWX2GwTqiqA
You should always drive in the left-hand lane when the road ahead is clear. If you are overtaking a number of slower-moving vehicles, you should return to the left-hand lane as soon as you are safely past.
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/motorways-253-to-273 The driver should have moved to the left as soon as he saw it was clear.

People speed, and they may end up doing something really stupid if you sit in the left lane for "no reason".

Don't stay on the right lane in a misguided attempt of being a road justice warrior.

Some of it even on the same roads I lived or worked. While I still lived there too, it's almost surprising I haven't shown up in the background somewhere.
Vauxhall Astra Van owner here. I don't like this Van stigma but I have it worst with Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans owned by corner stores and Halal Butchers, they drive like maniacs and the Sprinter lives up to it's name and can reach some insane speeds.
There's just something weirdly majestic about a Transit just bombing down a hard shoulder.
As a van driver myself I can't even begin to understand how the fuck people drive vans like this. Although I guess there's a bit more pressure on me driving correctly since I pretty much drive ambulances.
Yoo, don't talk shit about the Sprinter.
Just its drivers.
The speed limits in a given road aren't always reasonable (they rarely are outside of towns). Don't stay on the right lane in a misguided attempt of being a road justice warrior.
For the most part the speed limit here is fine, i have greivances with certain areas which are fucking stupid but regardless. It's the law. And it's what im expecting from other road users and it's what they're epecting of me. Doing your own thing because you don't agree with it just leads to videos like these at best, damage, injuries and fatalities at worse. Anyway, the van driver was a tosser for sitting in the right lane as he wasnt over taking, the biker was right to be call him out on it and cudos to him for not doing his own thing and not undertaking.
At the heart of every road traffic accident is a white Transit. Doubly terrifying for them to come near me as I just have a tiny baby Smart ForTwo, the only thing between me and these menaces is a bit of plastic and minimal steel framework. I literally cannot see how they even got their licence in the first place most times.
It ain't just UK van drivers, it's anyone with a van, SUV, or Prius here in California. More emphasis on the Prius and SUV drivers though. SUV drivers think they're invincible and are oblivious to everyone else, and Prius drivers deliberately attempt to stay at 35mph or below to keep the electric motor on to save gas. Your self righteousness does nothing but put other drivers in danger, including those who ARE obeying the speed limit. Move the fuck over if someone wants to pass, it's not hurting you.
Pickup Truck drivers in Texas. Ugh.
Larger trucks are actually less of an issue in my experience, unless they're rolling coal or compensating for a small phallus they're pretty average drivers. However, those beat-up minitrucks packed with gardening equipment loosely bungie-corded to a wood frame they've built around the bed? They're the worst.
What's scary is I recognize quite a few of those roads. A lot of them are from around where I live, and I use them very often.
It makes me glad to have gotten rid of the car honestly, the amount of traffic jams I'd get out of at the end of work were driving me insane. You'd be stuck in traffic consisting of all the morons you were trying to avoid at the start of the day by coming into work early but you're forced to leave because if you don't you'll be waiting about 2 hours for the rush hour to end. The worst instance I've seen is from an Yodel van that decided driving over the top of a roundabout, pedestrian path and through a red light was the smartest choice of action during a traffic jam, they did not crash and all I was glad for was to see them finally fuck off the road. Fast forward 2 months and now I am free of that deathtrap. It's really only a matter of time before a car manages to hit someone because everyone wants to get somewhere quicker than everyone else, sometimes they even manage to get themselves or others to the grave quicker.
You guys would love Australia. In New South Wales, drivers can be fined $319 and gain two demerit points for this offence.
It's true that Brits have a natural aversion to driving vans. It's just in the blood. Baked beans, tea, and not being able to drive vans. That's what makes a british man.
Fuck I hate van drivers so much, two have nearly made me crash then been like "what the fuck are you playing at" when it was both of us if not them being the main cause of the near collision.

NSW is pretty bad compared to the other states though, regarding shitty laws.
Woah that was incredibly weird to see a junction I use every day on there.

Still remember getting picked up by him only for a mate of his to be hitching a ride in the back scaring the shit out of me. But yeah, don't know what it is with some van drivers out there. I suspect that some of it can be put down to foreign workers having a poor understanding/regard for laws on the road but I also see a lot of idiots who have no excuse. Was on a coach trip once and the coach had to brake because some idiot in a van decided to cut in front of us just before we hit the exit. And my mum was nearly killed by some twat in a council van who didn't indicate and cut her off as she was riding her moped, which meant she went flying into the side of it and got dragged across the road which in turn caused a lot of damage to the bone in her ankle. Still affects her today.
