From my understanding, THC, the chemical found in marijuana, is absorbed through fat. Does this mean that the more fat someone has, the higher you can get? Or does it just mean that you stay high for longer?
no metobalized thc gets stored in fat cells
The more fat you have the longer it'll take to get it out of your system. They'll just take longer before they'd be fully clean for a drug test.

OK, thanks man. Helped a lot.
Sorry first post..Didn't really understand....
I believe that there are instances where if you have some THC stored in your fat cells, and you are exercising, one of those cells can burst and a rush of THC will go into your blood stream, causing you to become high. correct me if I'm wrong though.
damnit not these freshman myths again

notice the word metobalized
Yeah, it doesn't get you high again lol. Valium's metabolites are famous for staying in fat for a while, but not for as long as THC's. Fat people are going to need to spend longer detoxing. It sucks for them but hey, don't get fat I guess.
Im over weight, but no one tests for drugs here.
Lucky me, eh?
Im over weight, I just got tested for drugs.
Sucks to be me, eh?

That is supremely far fetched. The burning of fat cells is a pretty long process if thc is released it's in the absolute minute instances.

I'm fairly certain that when you burn calories and fat those things go into your bloodstream to give you energy and feed your body. When that happens the thc/fat solution goes into your bloodstream, thus you have THC in your blood, which goes to your brain, and makes you high.
quick run a few laps around ur block and get hi!

You're reaching man. That has never been reported. Don't you think if this was possible there would be alot more stoners working out?
Your body metabolises THC into primary metabolites just like any other drug. When it's metabolized you can't get high anymore because it's no longer THC. For example, Mephedrone metabolizes into 4-para-ephedrine which is what people think causes the blue knees etc. Most drug tests work by checking for metabolites, not the drug itself.

I'm just making educated guesses, I'm not saying it's fact at all. And a lot of stoners DO work out. The THC/fat solution high is a different feeling than smoking.
