Its summer. You know what that means? Ants. And they get fucking everywhere. For some reason, they seem to be collecting near my subwoofer, because I've already seen 4 ants on it in the past few minutes. I saw a few in my car too when I was cleaning it out yesterday. And its always the really tiny ones too that are really hard to see from more than a few inches away. To make matters worse, I have no carpeting in my room, so they just have to crawl through the cracks in the foundation of the basement and crawl through the huge gap on the bottom of the floor.
Also, I was reading Facepunch, when all of a sudden a spider fell from the ceiling, and hit me right on the nose and I freaked the fuck out. Stuff shouldn't fall from the ceiling. What is on the ceiling should [i]stay[/i] on the ceiling. I didn't kill the spider though, since I want it to hopefully take care of these ants and whatnot.
Anyone else here got stupid insect stories?

I had an ant invasion in my room one day. There was a spider just sitting in the corner chilling out while my room was being invaded.

Fuck you, ants are the coolest insects. Annoying as hell, but they are so incredibly awesome. Everything else scares the shit out of me except moths and worms.

Not saying they aren't neat, but last thing I want when I'm chilling at home, is an ant that decides to go "PRO-XXTREME" and climb across my fingers while I'm typing.
I have always hated bugs. I mean, I [b]loathe[/b] the bastard creatures in any capacity. Now, here in Florida my yard is just swimming with foot eating moths. I have these huge damn spider webs outside my bedroom window- admittedly, though, it is cool that I get to see spider sacks and baby spiders become born. But shit the spiders get big here, and their webs span massive lengths.
I could rant for hours about every insect and why I hate them. They're fascinating, but I still want them to die.
I hate it when goddamn flies land on my lip while I'm sleeping, And I'm woken up by the (nearly painful) tickling sensation.

I remember when I was a little kid, I saw a swarm of ants devour and carry off a tarantula...Fucking ants man. Fucking ants.

I've had the displeasure of getting bitten by a bug (not sure what it was) on my eyelid when i was asleep. Not only did I have crust everywhere in my eye, it was so swelled up I could not open it for a day.
