Maybe clicking the rating and posting about how you clicked the rating isn't enough. Have you considered sending him a PM as well? Or maybe leave a message on his profile?
Maybe add him on Steam, and tell him in chat? Or you can use voice chat and tell him with your own voice? Hmm?
