Designing their games with Japan in mind first. Denser areas of people with 3DS systems means it's easy to get into contact with others and share stuff or play multiplayer.
Hopefully the New Leaf update does more than just add Amiibo stuff. I can't do anything with Amiibo on my 3DS, but I'm not holding out too much hope.

That ending was so dorky and fantastic. I'm really excited for Yoshi's Woolly World being on the 3DS. It feels rather slow when playing at home so it'll make for a great time killer game
I really don't like that they're doing a similar thing they did with chibi-robo in this 2d pikmin game.
Yeah, even as a big pikmin fan I'm not very keen on the 3DS Pikmin game.
They said it's to focus on action, but from what I saw it would be better suited to being a Lemmings style puzzle game with Pikmin characters.
