This Is It (Movie) - General

Well, I just got back from the movies. I'll get to the movie in a sec, but let me tell you what happened first. My older sister is in love with MJ so she insisted I see it with her. We bought the tickets ahead of time for the showing in downtown Disney (Anaheim). It showed at 9 tonight, which is kinda weird because it's supposed to come out the 28th, but go figure. The interesting thing about this whole situation was that my sister picked me up 2 hours early to hang out at her husbands house. We get there and bam, she busts out the Jager and Redbull. I'm thinking "wtf?" because she knows I drink but I never expected her to drink with me lol. Especially before going out. So, of course, we take some shots and by the time it's time to go I'm buzzin hard. Anyway, my brother in law's friend picks us up and we start driving there, with more some Black Velvet in the car. We park at disney and start drinking while listening to Beat it. While sister's all singing "Drink it; just drink it. Hee!" lol Anyway, we stagger into the movie and after 40 minutes of sitting there it starts. Honestly, I had low expectations for this movie because I thought he'd be all old and unable to do anything cool.. but I was wrong. Basically it's just rehearsals of his best songs while showing you how they went about doing stuff inbetween. They did a really elaborate performance of Thriller in front of a green screen which was fucking incredible, and Billie Jean and Beat it were the best performances in my opinion. Everyone in the theater stood up and clapped at some points because of the awesomeness. And it might've been the alchohol, but everything MJ said was fucking hilarious. He stops for a minute, says "Wait, the bass, it's hurtin my ear, can you turn in down?" or something like that "...but do it with some L-O-V-E!" and the whole theater was like "LOL :fuckyou:". Overall, pretty entertaining. The dances still blew my mind and everything they did was in a new way but entertaining. I give it a 4/5 because some of the songs went on for way too long. I'm still a bit drunk so I'm gonna go to sleep now. Goodnite kids.

It pisses me off that they're to profit from him, even after he's dead. I mean, this show wasn't even finished. In my opinion, they should've just released this footage as a favor to the fans and family. Not trying to profit off his death like the moneyhungry whores they are. Still, sounds like you had fun :)

I think it'll be good... it's weird but, I hated MJ until he died. I guess I'd never really given him a chance, I just jumped on the "pedo!" bandwagon. It's only now I've bothered to pay him any real attention and I gotta admit, the guy did seem pretty cool and genuine. The trailer for the movie is badass, it gave me goosebumps. He was an old man, but he's still got it!

Its funny because even though he was proven innocent and even the child he so called "molested" said that he didn't do anything, people are still like "HURP DURP PEDO lololol". Im not a BIG fan but i enjoy his music, I may see it but ill see what happens.

I think the pedo assumption comes from the whole 'neverland' thing not just the court case, he had weird interested in children and childish things. I still don't believe he was a pedo, just a very weird, yet talented man.

I think what got most people buying into the pedo stuff was the fact that he looked and acted weird and liked children while some thought they could use that to make profit off him. If you don't like it find a planet that doesn't have money or debt and please, stay there.

Anyone who says he didn't molest kids is a hypocrite. However, his music is pretty boss. Even if he is a creepy black guy who bleached his skin, got facial reconstruction, and then dangled his infant out a window.

I just saw the movie... I LOVED IT!.... they where selling the movie CD after the movie... I bought it... My favorite song on it is .... CD 2.... Planet Earth (Its a poem he made)
