A scene added to the end credits sequence of "Thor: The Dark World" is getting negative reviews from a surprising source: the film's director. Alan Taylor, who helmed the sequel to 2011's "Thor," told Bleeding Cool that he wasn't happy about the tag, [sp] which reveals a blonde-haired Benicio Del Toro as the Collector from "Guardians of the Galaxy," teasing the upcoming James Gunn-directed flick that's the next entry into the Marvel movie canon. [/sp] Taylor said he "absolutely did not" direct the scene when questioned about it by Bleeding Cool, adding that he was "very happy not to take responsibility" for it."It's a different tone," Taylor explained of the scene, in comparison to the rest of "The Dark World." "I would have shot it differently. But I think it's cool that it reaches out and touches that other universe. That universe is coming. The Guardians universe is really cool and wacky ... but that sequence in the credits, I would say, is the only part of the movie where I'm happy to give the credit away." Taylor also added that he "wouldn't blame [the scene] on James Gunn," though "it's clearly his sets and his characters" that are depicted. Bleeding Cool also sat down with Marvel producer Kevin Feige, who said that the scene was indeed shot by Gunn, sometime within the last few weeks.
http://news.moviefone.com/2013/10/24/thor-the-dark-world-end-credits-scene/
That explains why I couldn't decide if that scene was serious or meant to be laughed at
definetly different, but i look foward to 'guardians' tone
okay im confused the title says hes unhappy but he says himself hes happy about it
He's interested to see more characters, but he doesn't like that the scene wasn't made by him - this being his movie and all.
adding that he was "very happy not to take responsibility" for it.
???
That means he's glad he wasn't responsible for the decision of including such a stupid scene, it doesn't mean he's happy that it's here.
