This was filmed way BEFORE this tragedy. personally i applaud channel 4 for not taking this off the air. Utopia is fantastic television and a good example of being bold. Whats the point in making drama if you cower away from controversial subjects like this. Also daily mail are scaremongering idiots, that's what they are known for.

That was fucking brilliant.
Why the hell is channel 4 blocks in my country when it's one of the big channels in England

Holy shit, that was so good, the way the camera and ambiance just stop once he starts. I may have to watch this show.
I need to find a way to watch this show
Honestly that was more terrifying than any horror film I can think of in recent memory. I mean that in the most complimentary manner possible.
dude i just remembered what terror feels like
Holy crap that was amazing.
I'm honestly shocked I haven't heard more people talk about Utopia. It's a fucking great show. Other good scenes include [sp]Wilson's torture.[/sp]
That was terrifying to watch because it was acted and performed brilliantly, i dont think theres any intention to piss off anybody with this because it wasnt like "AW YEAH GONNA SHOOT UP A SCHOOL TODAY I THINK AHAH LOL" it was just quiet, dark and i guess maybe a bit slow
i wish america had british television on basic cable
I just watched the first episode. Holy shit.
that was really well done.
The body thumping when that one kid saw the dead body didn't really make sense. Either he was still running or they just put it in as an audio cue as to what happened to him. This looks great though, hopefully it won't discontinue or anything.
I love how the camera zooms in on the LOL, on the wall. Like they're just trolling you.
BAN DIS SIK FILFF!
Well I've got to say, thanks Dailymail for introducing me to this show! It's pretty awesome
Channel 4 just happens to block it in the UK... On this end as it seems.
When I was watching this scene I didn't think of the recent school shootings, I was more interested in how he's fucking running about shooting people and I was immersed in the show. 10/10 show, have no idea what the fuck is going on. Actually to sum it up it's something like a graphic novel that's predicted the worst disasters in history or some shit like that and the Network, a government organization, wants to stop them, the main cast, from telling the truth I think.

It also has Jamie from The Thick of It, yet again playing a Scottish political adviser :v:
