Ah, I was about to post that. You kind of threw me off for a second there with that title when I was looking around to see if someone already made a thread.
Just starting now; I hope he mentions Halo: Fall of Reach and Halo: First Strike. Those are excellent examples of game adaptions to books.

I own those Doom books, including the ones based on Doom 3 too.
To be honest I'm a little disappointed he didn't bring up Karen Traviss and her obsession with familial type shit in her Gears of War, Halo and Republic Commando books
I totally didn't expect him to bring up the Doom books. I loved those when I was kid but I always kind of assumed they were terrible (like most of the stuff I liked as a kid). I guess I should give them another try...
Did you know they make novelizations of comic books too? Because I didn't until recently. There's a Guardians of the Galaxy one I found and it's surprisingly very good.
Fuck, I loved those doom books when i was younger Did one of those summer book reports they made us do on the first book, even got to draw a picture of the cover of Doom 2 (even though the summary was about the first book i used the doom 2 cover)
