As odd as it seems, it's neat that people are hanging on to and restoring early parts of... washing machine history. Old appliances are always so much more interesting. They're very direct links to the culture and lifestyle of the periods they're from so however inconsequential an object like a washing machine or blender may seem, they're worth saving.
I just can't imagine that washing machines are cheap to restore. I'm surprised there's enough people devoted enough to make it a viable hobby.
I'm reminded of that young guy who collected vacuums, and wound up with a super expensive antique one.
I know most people's initial reactions are "what the fuck", but it's honestly cool that people can preserve little bits of history like this. Some old appliances and tools are neat as fuck.
Well, that's.... Different....
Good, clean fun.
I guess washing machines are kinda cool.
I mean, if we didn't have people to love the old stuff... Who will?
"Bring your dirties! Load me up!"
Nothing like a group of men enjoying their loads.
Of laundry.
I can't watch the video because it's not available in my country. Why do you do this shit youtube?
