This is a hasty thread. I will update more tomorrow, but for now, its going to be very simple. This place is for any SEA people who want to talk about stuff going on here. I assume this is the right place to post this thread. If not, mods, kindly please move this thread. Thank you. Southeast Asia (or Southeastern Asia) is a subregion of Asia, consisting of the countries that are geographically south of China, east of India and north of Australia. The region lies on the intersection of geological plates, with heavy seismic and volcanic activity. Southeast Asia consists of two geographic regions: Mainland Southeast Asia, also known as Indochina, comprises Cambodia, Laos, Burma (Myanmar), Thailand, Vietnam and Peninsular Malaysia, and Maritime Southeast Asia, which is analogous to the Malay Archipelago, comprises Brunei, East Malaysia, East Timor, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Singapore. Geographically Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan are sometimes grouped in the Southeast Asia subregion, although politically they are rarely grouped as such. The same is true for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India, and occasionally regions of the Seven Sister States such as Manipur. Austronesian peoples predominate in this region. The major religions are Buddhism and Islam, followed by Christianity. However, a wide variety of religions are found throughout the region, including many Hindu and animist-influenced practices.
Hi.
Malaysia Represent. (Oh No Ziv knows now!)
I live in Malaysia, it's really REALLY corrupt.
Why is your eyes so strange
Why is your eyes so strange
Thats more or less Korea and China. (Although when I was in china hardly anyone had those types of eyes)
Australia represent!
So I'm guessing that everyone from malaysia here, is in KL right?
So I'm guessing that everyone from malaysia here, is in KL right?
Petaling Jaya. That's still pretty close to KL.
We had a guest lecturer yesterday in my Democracy class. He was of the opinion that the world is moving to a more state transcendent governance. He reckons ASEAN or an equivalent will become like the European Parliament with actual power. Do you reckon that'd be a good thing? All the South East Asian nations, plus like Australia, New Zealand etc. in a larger government with the power to alter trade, human rights and stuff?
If it makes Australia cheaper, then yes. [editline]20th May 2011[/editline] Oh, and if malaysia gets less corrupt as well. [editline]20th May 2011[/editline] I think they should do it for the better of all the countries in SEA. The only problem would be that Indonesia and malaysia is ruled by a muslim government, so there might be a bit religious issues I guess.
It's never felt so strange to fit into a group.
Do you reckon that'd be a good thing? [editline]20th May 2011[/editline]
in south east asia finding original games is like looking inside your ass for piss
Everyone pirates here. Even more ironic is that on summer sales, some game packs make each game cheaper than a pirated game. Some people are just so stubborn.

As far as I know, out of 240 people I meet, only 6 plays original games. Also. @-Cash is shit, Rm 30++ For a 10k card. And guess what, everytime people buy @-Cash, they don't buy it in small amounts. They buy at least a minimum of 50k which is about Rm150.

Why are they even popular, they're horrible, including its community, which is just plain anti-social. What I don't even get is Sudden Attack. If anything, runescape > any mmo in terms of everything. It's a dumbed down version of counter strike where you have to buy guns with real money, or real time (and lots of it). i never understood why.
I've never played a Asian MMO. It's all "Pay to the best" [editline]20th May 2011[/editline] Funny thing is, I'm getting a job to play test them.
