Now I have to go back & binge watch Spike'n'Barleys Sven Co-op videos
2016 was worth it.
it was preparing us for this
Fuckin' love ya, Andrew. Great job on the vid.
Saddened to hear that NS2 is having the exact opposite problems of TF2 involving the community, and seems to be undergoing an entire rework to compete with games like Overwatch.
Last I heard on here was that a recent patch completely screwed over hitboxes.
I liked Halfquake Amen a little bit more than Sunrise
Um everyone knows this was the best hl1 mod

Now this is worth posting for the first time in over a year.
Disappointed that I'm not mentioned as executive producer, I'LL FUCKING SUE YOU BARLEY, I ONCE CHATTED WITH YOU A LOT OF YEARS AGO AND I DON'T GET CREDIT? DISGRACEFUL!
I cry everytime.
Man Master Sword continued was my fucking jam. Hated how RNG it was to get the good end-game weapons though.

Wish it was actually still being updated. It's basically on life support at best at the moment.
Nostalgia'd hard. Fuck I miss playing those mods!
Facepunch mentioned ayy
It's good to hear his voice again.
sven co-op is probably the most timeless mod of all time. surprised he didnt mention jaykin bacon.

I remember Thothie saying somewhere that should Fuzzynet servers ever go down, he has a backup patch that will rebalance everything for single player. Still it's a shame it's not that popular.
Earth's Special Forces reminded me of those modded Counter-Strike 1.6 servers where you could play as Ironman, Superman, Goku, etc...
fun times
where's crack life?
This is a really awesome video that made me feel nostalgic.
I had so many mods on my external HDD that I downloaded from PlanetPhilip and moddb, but it got infected in 2009 and I had to format it. It felt like I was killing a part of myself.
I'm going to go binge-play mods now.
okay damn that's a lot of mods I wanted to play at some point but forgot
most notably Paranoia
gonna get on this as soon as possible
Those memories, ughhh. That modding era was the best time I had in gaming. Community was awesome, servers were full and it was a lot more fun to play games. I kinda miss that feeling :(
Those memories, ughhh. That modding era was the best time I had in gaming
I completely agree!
Oh shit that Resident Evil mod. That thing was uncompromisingly brutal. I remember leading teams of newbies through it all the time and almost always being the only person alive at the end.
ESF will also always have a special place in my heart for really capturing the DBZ feel, better than many of the real games I'd say too.
man i really wish natural selection 2 was better than it turned out
They Hunger was such a good mod. It's too bad the creators stopped working on the sequel/remake.
I'm glad AHL at least got an honorable mention. Hondo is not human.

endless rain, dude
Quite surprised The Ship didn't at least get a mention on the list. Whilst not the most popular, it certainly was a lot of fun!

It's a Half-Life 2 mod though
