Not an expert, but the Patriots just got control of the ball and were trying to run it when Tom Brady got the ball knocked out of his hand before he could pass. It was right at the end and basically dashed any hope New England had of coming back and winning.
Brady is basically the big star of the team and the whole league at the moment and his team basically was doomed because of his fuck up there.
Yeah pretty much, after this he started to play really stupid moves and become flustered.
Basically what you're seeing is the super bowl ring being swatted out of Tom Brady's finger last minute.

The following plays after the eagles scored their FG appeared to be rushed and without a critical focus.. Up until their final drive to the endzone where they regained their balance.

lmao what, the instant they got back from half time the Gronk/Brady synergy was glowing brighter than the stadium lights.
If it weren't for that last minute turnover it wasn't that unlikely for Tommy to pop a dirty 60 yard pass for the quick tie up.

It was one of the closest back-and-forth Superbowl games ever. New England easily could've made this drive work, they were playing ruthlessly efficient offense all quarter.
