Gonna be released next week. I just can't wait.
Don't show this to Chris Robberts, star citizen might get further delayed. :v:
Geez, the way the narrator describe all the features borders on ASMR.
Jesus, couldn't they afford a higher quality MIDI for their presentation? Also what is it with every sim game using the exact same font?
Now if only they'd move onto a more accurate base to model these things on. It almost feels like they're wasting their time doing this on the FSX engine when DCS is so much more intricate with regard to how the aircraft actually operates. And, hey, with 2.0 you don't even need that AI. You can just have a buddy on the engineer's station.
A2A makes excellent sim aircrafts. I got 2 of theirs in FSX qnd it's just a joy. The quality is insane.

They keep using FSX (and now P3D with 2016 technology) because of simconnect. Simconnect make them able to bypass FSX physics engine to use their own engine. With this tool they can do whatever they want, and the level of detail of system dynamics and flight model accuracy goes WAY beyond the latest DCS modules (I own the A10C and the F-5, dunno about the others). In DCS you can't do that. If they want to implement dynamics like external temp affecting engine output (as shown in the video), they have to ask ED (DCS devs) to modify the core engine to implement the function. Also DCS is very limited in terms of flying space with two small maps (for an airliner), and the weather engine is minimalist.
I want to fuck this plane

MSFS never had the best feeling flight characteristics even though technically the good payware aircraft flew exactly as they should. X-Plane can also be used as a FAA Flight Training Device and be used as time logged, so long as you have the expensive ass hardware

It would be nice to see more good payware for X-Plane, (there is already some amazingly good stuff) in my opinion it completely outclasses FSX and P3D when it comes to the flight dynamics, I only wish the AI and ATC was as good.
Reminds me of the Train Simulator video narrated by Sean Bean.
