Probably the same as IV.
As in no animation differences at all from the characters whose style you're using.
See, some of the extra styles and weapons sucked in III, but at least you could make a character that had their 'own' style to claim. Only being able to duplicate the inputs and attacks of pre-existing characters felt like an unneeded strip-down. Of course, there were lots of things in IV that were missing, but that bothered me the most, really.
All the best parts from Soul Calibur 3 and 4's character creator, without any of the bad bits, and added options. Looks incredible.

I want to make a fat guy just to mix things up. I've only ever seem one fat guy in Soul Calibur, and he was a side character unessential to the main cast in SC3.

Speaking of Demuth, I really hope they bring back the other fighting styles from SC3 for custom characters, like the steel fan, katana and shuriken, double nunchucks, etc.
Just, wonderful character creation system, And hopefully you'll be given more freedom to wear whatever you want without it being dependant on stats. (Here's looking at you Soul Calibur 4''s tower)
