Time Warner Cable hasn't been a part of Time Warner proper for years now. Fox is trying to buy the one that does Cartoon network.
A corporation who through BSkyB has tried to strangle and monopolise the TV landscape over here in the UK over course of the last few decades doesn't get my vote to make them even more powerful.

No, Cartoon Network is done and owned by Time Warner Media, if Fox bought them they'd own everything that Time Warner owns.
