His car crumpled in the December 2008 collision and although L/Cpl Beharry was knocked unconscious, he escaped with minor scrapes and bumps. The Grenadan-born NCO, who said he was speaking out in a bid to help other soldiers with similar feelings, has since promised his girlfriend and family he will never attempt suicide again. "Yes, I'm the most decorated soldier in the British Army but I'm a human being as well - and I'm suffering," he said. The fact that they say he had an argument with 'his partner' makes me think he's gay. They need to rephrase that, because no one ever uses that to mean girlfriend.

I really hope he doesn't try anything like that again, and that he get the help he needs.
