This should make the General Election:
NIGEL Farage won a fresh boost today when an opinion poll pronounced his party the second most popular after the Conservatives, pushing Labour into third place.
The YouGov survey also found that nearly three times as many of those asked thought the UK Independence Party leader would be the best Prime Minister compared with Labour's Ed Miliband.
The findings, which had 38 per cent of those surveyed backing the Tories, 28 per cent Ukip and 25 per cent Labour, came after former Tory MP Mark Reckless became Ukip's second elected MP in the Rochester and Strood by-election.
I don't know, they said similar things about the Yes vote.
Wouldn't surprise me to be honest, Labour are doing shit right now, moreso in Scotland, which won't be helping them down south.
They need to lose miliband as fast as possible, otherwise he's just going to keep dragging them down until there's nothing left.
I'm in no way a supporter of labour but its still a shame cunts like ukip end up doing well because of this shit.
Absolutely not true, this is a sample of Sun readers misreported by the Express as a general population sample
http://ukpollingreport.co.uk/blog/archives/9075
The slightly larger sample than usual was to make sure they had a good sub-sample of Sun readers, which the Sun used in yesterday's analysis of the poll to look at what their own readers thought. The Express, however, has decided to report the Sun reader crossbreak as a national poll – obviously it wins the coveted UKPR crap media reporting of polls award. Just to be crystal clear UKIP are not in second place in this poll.
that's because every ukip voter is racisttttt!!!
Edit: This was a sarcastic post.

David Miliband wouldve been so much better
everytime Ed speaks I cringe through the floor
Fuck ukip
The Express is generally a terrible source, their former political editor is now a high ranking member of Ukip now so their bias is pretty clear and as pointed out above, the article is plain wrong.
i find it hard to believe that the tories actually have any support whatsoever at this point.

Why?

They need to keep Miliband so labour will never be voted in again and fuck up the country further.
Cant wait for private healthcare.
Why?
between dismantling the NHS and benefit system, supporting TTIP, flip flopping on EU and immigration issues and ruining any chance of economic recovery, i'm surprised it isnt just either ukip or labour at this point.
Cant wait for private healthcare.
Why would you want private healthcare?

You missed the infamous British sarcasm
between dismantling the NHS and benefit system, supporting TTIP, flip flopping on EU and immigration issues and ruining any chance of economic recovery, i'm surprised it isnt just either ukip or labour at this point.
They're not dismantling the NHS, the reforms to the benefit system is supported by much of the Conservative electorate, TTIP is a good thing, About half of Tory voters are pro-EU and the other half are Anti-EU so they can't be seen to take a clear position and tackling immigration is also pretty popular nationwide. They're pretty much the only reason we even have an economic recovery.
Why would you want private healthcare?
He doesn't. He saying that sarcastically, as he expects it to be shoved through if this happens despite it being a bad idea.
Even if this was a representative sample of the UK electorate (which smurfy points out it is not), it still wouldn't mean much - polls are noisy and you need a moving average to make sense of them.

The scatter is all over the place so it's clear that a generally more unpopular party will sometimes poll higher than a mainstream one.
Well, if ukip does win, welcome to the-countries-run-by-racist-assholes club!
David Miliband wouldve been so much better

I am sure David is a great guy, i was personally rooting for him in the vote.
Tis a shame he lost it by a whisker.
at least if ukip win scrap-iron prices will go up due to the 20-ft fence around the whole country
Cant wait for private healthcare.
UKIP doesn't stand for private healthcare. Though some Tories (such as Daniel Hannan) clearly do.
UKIP doesn't stand for private healthcare. Though some Tories (such as Daniel Hannan) clearly do.
Naive or willingly ignorant? Do the Tories seek a fairer big society as well?
I just wanted to pop in and say I love how I can make jokes like Israel giving "free bullets" to Palestinians and SH rages at me for being an Israeli shill, and when the few people that do see the sarcasm in my posts points it out to them they just bring up Poe's law.
Now you walk into an English thread and someone simply says;
Cant wait for private healthcare.
Not even a hint of sarcasm, everyone knows he's joking.
Wish I was English.
Well, if ukip does win, welcome to the-countries-run-by-racist-assholes club!
You'll be overrun by the local Facepunch racist apologists club and their following of shills any minute now.
So will I.

Don't worry, I'm sure UKIP will decide that the American Revolution was invalid like the Scottish independence referendum and we will be.

I'm sorry, are you implying that the independence referendum was rigged or something?
