Am I the only one getting very strange and very vivid dreams a couple of days after smoking weed? And the dreams are always about weed in some way. For example, I once dreamt that I was in a room with a lot of other people, and I went into another room with no one in it, and in the room there was a glass of orange soda with white powder laying in the bottom of it, and for some reason the white powder was weed, so I drank it and got high as fuck inside of my dream, and I walked back into the room with a lot of people, and my body and mind just started "lagging" and shit, and no one else could see it. Then I woke up, and God, it was scary. Can anyone relate?
I've found that when I stop smoking after a long time on it, the first few nights I have proper cracked out, vivid dreams and just general trouble sleeping. I can remember the dreams really well as if they happened for real and sometimes they can be a bit scary for it.
Then after a couple of days I can sleep easily.
But this sounds a bit different, I always find it harder to remember my dreams when I've been smoking weed.

On the topic of dreams and weed... (which btw, when I smoke I won't remember my dreams for that following night, even if I smoked hours before going to sleep)... lately when I get high my memory randomly recollects parts of dreams I had years ago, which I forgot of by now.

I have crazy dreams, and I think it's all to due with the weed I've smoked
I get the best dreams ever. really, most of the time it really feels like i'm in heaven. the locals and architecture are all beautiful (i love barren concrete faces(walls,ceiling,floor,etc) and most of the buildings in my dreams are built like that, sorta bunker-esque with a little bit of the roark styling... you know the protagonist in the fountainhead?)
the dreams themselves all have extremely potent feelings in them, ones i used to feel before i stopped feeling (sober at least) like when i'd read some book or something like the foundation series or some shit.
there's always communion in the dreams, i'm never alone. i'm always surrounded by lots of actually decent, kind and objective people.
five years after cyber brains and shit come out i'm getting one so i can record and re-experience my dreams and all these wonderful feelings that come with them.
one time i got baked, went to sleep, and dreamt that i went into the ocean in a submarine with frylock, shake, and meatwad.
it was weird.
Man I went to sleep sometime after smoking, and had a dream in which I was in my backyard at night, looking at the stars, except instead of stars there was like this giant Jupiter planet, and you could see it like HUGE as shit. And there was just this clusterfuck of planets and shit so clearly visible throughout the sky, was so fucking beautiful.
You probably won't get how beautiful this shit really was.

I've smoked and gotten really high then I went to bed and actually had a lucid dream right when I fell asleep. It was crazy because I was really high in the dream too. I'm a frequent lucid dreamer so don't go thinking that this means that weed gives you lucid dreams.

Yall are really lucky to have such great dreams, at the least 8 days of a month ill have zombie dreams. They aren't always nightmares mind you but most of the time they are, its horrible having to watch your family die before you time and time again. It's weird though I don't really remember any other dreams other than the zombie ones... maybe the occasional extremely abstract dream ill be able to recall like balloons drifting into the sky and popping painting the sky different colors as each 1 pops. But yea that's about it really.

I had vivid dream two nights ago where I rode the most amazing roller coaster of my life. I thought I would share this.

Only after smoking heavily for a period of time and then quitting. Once I took my little six month hiatus, the first week was full of terrifyingly vivid dreams. When you're high? No. You always forget your dreams.
Its so funny this thread is here i just had a vivid dream a few days ago.
It starts in a jungle like wilderness like something out of Monster Hunter and Indiana Jones crossed with Jurassic Park. Large vines thicker than both of my arms and nothing but masses of greens and flora that spotted the area asif a paint brush flicked spots of color across a canvas. Massive trees everywhere the size of small buildings and small river that ran deep through but eventually expanded more and more later. All sorts of plants with huge leaves etc. with different height levels of foliage Looked much like this:

Its foggy but I remember waking up from the midst of it like I had been picked up from my daily life by two divine fingers and plopped gently into the untapped beauty surrounding me. I guess I go walking because I can remember what happened between but my memories jump to me finding 3 other people like me who had been in the exact same situation and eventually we find this huge boat on the river that was running through the jungle, apparently crashed there as i remember allot of green on it like had been sitting there for awhile.
Anyways next thing you know were on the damn thing going through a river that looks something like this :

I remember allot of clawing and hiding and shitting my pants because I couldn't find anything but I finally get to what I'm thinking was the cockpit because of the vague images of a wheel and two of these at the top of one side of the wall hanging there like ornaments or souvenirs:

Memory jump to another instance in my dream where me and the others have found more people and have cleaned up and facilitated the boat pretty well with a talented staff. Almost in a Gurren Lagann or Metal Gear type fashion with every member of the team having a unique position and task on the ship. It is at this point where i remember strong hues of brown , orange, and a clay like red as we moved into a massive canyon with a river that ran in-between

The large amount of people meant we were running out of supplies faster, I just remember crowded rooms and a whole lot of panicking. Hungry and starving from little food I eat a plant like bud that looked allot like weed , smelled like weed and tasted it like it would from the smell. Thats right . I fucking ate that shit. I don't know why. But I did. Don't even remember where it came from it was just in my hand one moment and in my mouth the next and my dream logic didn't think to smoke it or anything.

It had a sour and citric taste to it but very pungent in smell and I just downed nuggs of it. I assume I was close to the side of the ship because I start looking at the water and out of nowhere the water started looking like this:

When I came to, which seemed quickly in my dream the human-like images gradually turned back into what was originally floating plants with the shape of a log but green in nature.
Thus sparks the idea of the entire crew strapping on these sacky plants to our backs and diving into the water to avoid the next raptor attack, causing the raptors to assume no one is on the ship any longer and there's no one to eat :eng101:

So after surviving the last land-to-sea jumping raptors were out into an open ocean now. Now this is where things get foggy, I guess we run out of gas or whatever is running the ship and all the members have to find away to get more. It just so happens that one of them can breath underwater and take extreme pressures, almost much like the Mariner/antihero from "Water World" the 1995 movie. It's at this point my mind starts to go in the perspective of the diver guy as he swims deeper and deeper to find something to fuel the ship. Which made no apparent sense until I saw what he saw which was a giant city area completely submerged underwater. It was the ruins of a past American city, as if swallowed by the sea.

( It was only after I woke up that I was able to conciously reason that it was some kind of post apocolyptic world that had long been consumed by nature with the cities under the oceans and the massive amount of plant life )
Allot of the buildings seems to intersect with the under wanter mountains, like have of them are one mass or were built onto the side of the mountains. Next thing I can remember is blasting straight for one with a boulder in front of me. How this came together I still can't make sense of. Remember its not me but i'm simply sharing the perspective of the mariner guy almost clayrvoantly. I'm assuming he used the boulder to break through the building and into whatever area that contained some kind of power source for the ship. Now this is where things look odd because now he's in the inside of this huge facility that looks closely associated with something out of Metro 2033 or Stalker.
Trails that cut off into rooms and trails and more rooms, a labyrinthian area but setup with this all happening within several floors that go deeper and deeper. But rather than going up or down in a normal building it seemed like it was just going forward into the mountain the building was connected to.
I remember allot of broken down areas, allot of rust, old plugs, wires hanging, strong hues of old browns and dark murky reds , and nobs, its foggy. But some pictures that kind of remind me of what I saw. As far as area.

You would think smashing through a building submerged by water would have caused the entire place to flood but again dream logic, so I'll just pretend only part of the area got flooded or something to make more sense of a senseless dream.
As the guy gets deeper and he starts to find the main room with a power source for the ship he gets caved in.
Jump back to the ship with the rest of the crew, worried about him we send out a probe. Since when did we get probes fuck if I know. So this android orbe like thing with a cylinder hanging from it dives in and eventually finds him.
To which. more of us go to his location pop him out and save the day with whatever was needed to fuel the ship.
As the "rescue team"? I guess u can call it and the mariner guy go back up to the surface they're in a different place more like a gulf of surround them with a water and opening. Where old ships are docked from a very long time ago as well as an old bridge. I'm assuming the ship couldn't go inside the gulf for some reason because it was too narrow? Because they had to cross a huge bridge that went from the opening to the sea/where the ship was.
It's like this massive tribal looking bridge that was just sitting on the sea. Can't make any sense of it or have any referrence pictures it was pretty insane. I remember it being made out of thick hemp rope , massive notes and huge teeth from some gain beast and massive tribal mask/faces all over it.
I remember allot of wobbles and shakyness and then all of a sudden a big wave. Out of nowhere come this team of surfers and canoers riding one big titanic wave together and they were coming for us.
Allot of water and allot of splashing. I remember talking to them. And being really happy. Because the whole time I thought me and my crew were the only humans left alive. So we realize there were others like us through radical gaint wave riders. And find out civilzation has started in other places already we were just in rural parts.
I find this out because the massive wave that was carrying the riders was part of some intricate tribal initiation , x games status tournment and the whole time this was going on the wave was moving us towards some kind of city/game holding place.
The last thing I remember is being really wet and cameras in our face along with wacky outlandish tournament announcers shoving microphones in our face asking us how we survived out there. The kind you see in animes that have tournaments.

I wake up and kind of just stare at the cealing for a few moments accessing what the fuck just happened. It was one of the most vivid dreams I'd had in awhile.
I was trying to figure why the dream was so fucking long, sometimes I've had two seperate dreams that had nothing to do with one another in one sleep sitting but nothing with this amount of consistantcy. Turns out I was asleep for 16hrs.
If it wasn't for me writing it down as soon as I got out of bed I probably wouldn't have remembered any of this.

I try to write out all my dreams to help me remember them. Adding pictures that are similar to what I saw helps too. I mindblowingly couldn't give a shit if you liked what I posted or not.

i once had a dream that wasn't influenced by weed but weed involved in it and it was semi-lucid/mind-fucky. i was in a friends car and we were smoking out of some sort of dream-piece and i was like "yoo bro if i'm high now what happens when i wake up" no one answered and i eventually woke up and was not high.

My last dream I got a blow job from a hot Arab chick that cost me 200$ and I was all like shit I don't have 200$. Of course that was towards the end of the dream. The beginning I parked my car somewhere and went into a dark street that looked like it was taken from some chinese film. I went to the place where I worked and it was totally wack. It was apparently attached to a grocery store on one side and a liquor store on the other but the walls where still there and well, it was kinda strange.
Dream: Last night I was hopping fences and entering my luxury house full of antiques with my friend, there was some killer in my house and he killed my friend.
Fuck nightmares dude, the whole death of him was all slow motion and I couldn't stop it, I was wanting to push him so badly but I just couldn't.

Cannabis inhibits REM sleep, so when your body is finally able to enter REM sleep you generally have very vivid and non-linear dreams.
