Yes threatening the civilian population of fellow NATO members is surely a good idea. This will certain de escalate the situation.
Can we just replace Turkey with Kurdistan

Right in the irony, considering you threatened civilians in the same statement.
What a complete fucking buffoon, throwing threats while demanding respect for human rights
With the amount of shit Turkey is pulling I wouldn't be surprised if they lose any allies they have left
Is that a threat? I think that's a threat.
Can we blow him up now?
"Are you threatening me, master Erdogan?"
Fucking lunatic.
nice job killing your tourism industry
Is turdogan trying to force the US to choose between EU and Turkey? Given such a choice who would Trump pick...
So we're evacuating our nationals when?
Up until the Turkish coup and other events I had a hope that Turkey would go along a path towards modernisation and a path towards joining the EU.
That clearly is no longer possible. Erdogan in his statements and actions has ruined that and is bringing Turkey down a very dark and awful path. One only hopes that ordinary Turkish people can come through OK in the end.
It's a shame there isn't anyone around with the balls to stand up to Erdogan and drag his corrupt hide from power. I'd say it would be convenient if he was on the receiving end of an attack from the likes of IS but knowing the Turkish government atm they'd probably use the Kurds as a scapegoat so instead the best we can hope for is for the man to drop dead.
I think Turkey could do with some liberation right about now
just get cancer and die you fuckin waste of sperm
well that's not very nice
This lunatic managed to ruin both our relations with the EU and the future of the tourism industry with two weeks of non-stop rambling. Fucking amazing.

It would be equally bad, if not worse.

Except that at least in that scenario they get their land, their home and they stay on their own.
Also Turkey vanishes.
Erdogan had a stroke or something these last few months holy shit.

Uh, yeah, fuck the Turks then I guess.
Friend of mine recently fled Turkey because they are fearing something terrible might happen to the country anytime soon.
Ho boy

If you don't mind me asking, why would the existence of a Kurdish state be so bad?

Our army holy shit. The Greek army always had a feud with turkey and versa. I heard many stories and seen shit on the news. Especially the airforce, they are 125% ready to fight the turks. I know that its an impossible scenario and that my country lacks resources but in any case you can count that our boys won't go down that easy.

im pretty sure trump thinks the EU is the USSR which still doesnt make much sense given his vocal opinion on russia...
This is reaching Pyongyang levels of talking mad shit and asking for a kick in the nards

Nobody thinks the Kurds shouldn't have a place to go, but pretending like Kurdistan would be some perfect utopia is just a dumb internet meme at this point, it's frankly ridiculous. Also acting creepy and bloodthirsty about how Turkey needs to be purged from the face of the earth and replaced with Kurdistan is just... weird.

This. I support the idea of an independent Kurdistan, but I know it's just going to end up being a communist shithole or descend into a civil war between the KRG and the PKK and its various offshoots in Syria and Iran.
And yes ideally there can also be a Turkey and Kurdistan at the same time. The only people who need to go are Erdogan, his party, and the people who support him and his party.

Why would ISIS attack their main ally?

That, or much worse. Their land would border Turkey, Iran and Syria and would constantly be under their strikes, not to mention it'd be a heaven for any future terrorist threat in Middle East to rise from due to it being a newborn, unstable country. Thought US would pull another invasion but nonetheless, it'd be a chaotic situation just under a different tag.

I don't think anyone in Turkey would be willing to give (their own land) to a Kurdish state, no matter whom they support. Even when Erdogan eventually steps down, aside from the power vacuum issue, Turkey would keep their attitude towards stopping Kurds from doing anything. It's a national thing at this rate.

Sorry, guess I misunderstood - I wasn't advocating wiping Turkey off the map, just I thought you meant a Kurdish state would mean a disaster.
Hopefully we might see a Kurdish state form out of the dust as one of the few "decent" products of the Civil War, as a peaceful solution rather than through military force. Erdogan, after all, seems hellbent on alienating Europe so he can paint himself as a national hero defending Turkey from foreign influence. Somehow I also doubt he'll be getting much from Russia after the various shitshows that have occurred there.

It's mostly posts like these that crop up in every Turkey thread:
