My only small gripe with ahoy is that his focus on games kind of detracts from his information. He states "hollywood hollywood action action" yet he never showcases a film where it's prominently featured.
His videos are already fantastic, but I think they'd be even better if it didn't focus on games as much.

does he record some of the footage on less than ultra settings? i know far cry 2 has aged badly, but not [i]that[/i] badly surely?

My only problem with Ahoy's videos is the absolute swarm of Call of Duty footage. Every damn game looks the same so why keep showing all of them? Chances are if the gun is in one game it's gonna be in every other one and it's gonna look exactly the same.

The production quality is 11/10 but the channel seems to be split between having it's foot in real life guns, and having it's foot in video game guns.

I think he specifically tries to avoid using film clips because of copyright or something. Whenever he talks about a movie the most he will ever show is like, an outline of a character. I guess that could be to fit with the other graphics, but the first part still stands.
Had no idea the Uzi was that old, I always thought it was engineered in the 1970s.

Especially if he's monetizing the videos, he should steer miles away from any movie footage that isn't open for internet usage.

In his history of graphics video a few PC games (Far Cry and a Need For Speed game) were show on the lowest possible settings, so I don't doubt that the graphics aren't on the highest settings

He kinda got his start as a CoD channel. And yeah I think copyright is the reason why he doesn't use movie footage.
Also, I'm not sure, but he's probably running most of his games on console so that may be to blame for the graphics.
