Man this looks cool as hell, Punisher gonna get shit done.
Fuck yes
That is dream casting for The Punisher.
Shane was getting a bit nuts last we saw him
The Punisher is wearing a plain black shirt, where's the skull?
"You're one bad day away from being me" Nailed it.
The Punisher is wearing a plain black shirt, where's the skull?
No big black leather coat either, I hope it isn't like S1 where they wait until final episode to reveal the costume :v:
Looks fantastic. I'm yet to be sold on Bernthal as the Punisher, however. He has the intensity, but there's just something about him that feels off to me. Hopefully my gut feeling is proven wrong.

Netflix is practically begging me to watch Daredevil. How is it? Recommendations?
Netflix is practically begging me to watch Daredevil. How is it? Recommendations?
Daredevil and Jessica Jones are the two best things set in the MCU (including all the movies and other TV Shows).
Daredevil and Jessica Jones are the two best things set in the MCU (including all the movies and other TV Shows).
Jessica Jones is a little slower paced. But both shows are absolutely worth the watch. I'd add Gotham to the list as well.
The Punisher is wearing a plain black shirt, where's the skull?
I have a feeling it'll make its appearance much later in the show, like how we didn't see Daredevil's actual suit till the last episode of last season.
Gotham ain't in the MCU though :P.
Shane was getting a bit nuts last we saw him
m'ask you sumthin
Gotham ain't in the MCU though :P.
Doesn't matter. watch it anyway. So fucking worth it. Stoked as hell for when it comes back end of February. [sp]MR FREEZE MOTHERFUCKER[/sp]
m'ask you sumthin
*rubs head*, i will chop my dick off if the punisher rubs his head... Or if he has a limp

The amount Foggy appears in the trailer better directly translate to the amount of time he appears this season.
"I tell you what daredale"
The amount Foggy appears in the trailer better directly translate to the amount of time he appears this season.
Why? Foggy's cool.
Jessica Jones is a little slower paced. But both shows are absolutely worth the watch. I'd add Gotham to the list as well.
Jessica Jones has real pacing issues. The story just kind of meanders around until episode 8 and even then, it's a bit hokey.
Jessica Jones has real pacing issues. The story just kind of meanders around until episode 8 and even then, it's a bit hokey.
My problem with it is that I get the distinct impression it could have been wrapped up in about half as many episodes The show spent way too much time trying to arse around making sub-plots I couldn't really give a shit about [sp]the whole ex-military guy on drugs thing, mommy issues, the whiny twin trying to find her dead brother, should JJ try to be a superhero y/n[/sp] it just got exhausting and uninteresting. Daredevil succeeds where JJ fails because it doesn't force itself into a place where you want it to get to the point - the dynamic between the trio of good guys (all excellently characterised) is constantly changing and Murdock's cases as a lawyer that are not strictly related to Kingpin are emphasized individually. Everything in JJ is directly and plot-significantly linked to Kilgrave. JJ never stops being contemptous and dismissive towards the third member of the good guy brigade. The relationship between JJ and her sister is never really meaningfully tested after getting rekindled early on. It just gets boring and predictable, especially with the episodes in the middle where it tries way too hard over way too many episodes to force moral ambiguity.
My problem with it is that I get the distinct impression it could have been wrapped up in about half as many episodes
Maybe even less. Like I said, the story meanders around for about 8 episodes and then we get like 3 or 4 'yay we captured kilgrave now let's do this really dumb thing oh no he gets away what do we do now' moments.
Daredevil and Jessica Jones are the two best things set in the MCU (including all the movies and other TV Shows).
IMHO Jessica Jones is the best thing I've seen yet, even if it isn't perfect I thought Tennent would be too silly but he turned out to be literally the perfect man for the job [t]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-NpPC9ftc57Y/VXf8KrIUx6I/AAAAAAAAW0Q/pDnbkvMKmbc/s1600/JJ02c.jpg[/t]
also, cop guy was only annoying after [sp]he got the pills[/sp], but i always thought he was a fantastic morally ambiguous character before that. seriously, probably my favorite in the show.
Simpson did nothing wrong. [sp]Until he went Nuclear. It saddens me that there's no chance of a Punisher/Nuke/Captain America showdown. Although if The Punisher series ends up happening that could be a fun fight[/sp]
