No mention of it at all on the US sites, its only on the UK site. The non-type R "civic" version of this car apparently gets 70MPG too. Meanwhile in the US we are stuck with bog-standard 30-40mpg sedans that are miles more generic and boring.

The type R has never been sold in North America. We never get the cool turbocharged versions of cheaper cars. Except of course the WRX/Evo.
