IIRC, it was revealed in some leaked stuff that Samsung or something was working with was working with an intelligence agency to make it so that when you turned off your smart TV, it fakes it and it's still on.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for incriminating evidence in the extravagant case of a hypothetical trump tower wiretapping but i'll be also clipping my nose shut because this reeks of way too much bullshit. Only a small part of the NSA leaks concerned domestic spying while nothing in Vault 7 indicates a system or program in place for the CIA to use surveillance technology in the US. Its mostly concerned with abstract applications and malware "cyberweapons". But even if it did show the CIA running a domestic surveillance operation, the original claim was that Trumps residence was bugged by Obama, which still wouldn't be proven. The NSA ran a limited domestic option + the CIA is looking for ways to spy on people better != Obama ordered Trumps place to be wiretapped
