Looks insanely detailed for a mod, I'll be downloading! Best of luck with it.
So have to point this out, I don't think I know anyone that could take that many swings from a SLEDGEHAMMER and be okay... :v:

Thank you sir! That's 2.5 years of hard work in the mod :D

An astute observation sir. I think you're right. Don't think it's going to turn out well for the Courier after that beatdown.
You guys are amazing at what you do and don't let anyone tell you otherwise <3 REALLY excited for this
Bravo, this is Mr. Fan-fuckin-tastic. The song went very well with the trailer too, I liked that it was something different that you wouldn't hear too often.
I hate to be a critic though but the Earth in that space shot looked a little too okay, it should look more like the Earth in the Zeta dlc. It wasn't a very long shot though so maybe I'm just missing something.
The rest is excellent though, really pushing what a Nv mod, and even gamebryo, can do.

Truthfully speaking, I still don't know why... When we first released a teaser on the Frontier, like the first announcement of its existence. We got a TON of backlash. It was kind of weird too, since this was a free mod. I never really understood it. But it's one of those things where we brush it off and move on. But thank you for your excitement. Hopefully it will live up to your expectations!

Thank you sir and we don't mind constructive criticism at all! We encourage it. Funny thing was, people thought the Earth looked too dull in our original shots of the world. So we decided to spice it up by adding a more detailed image of the world. I'll take a look at the image you are referring to and provide your feedback to the rest of the team.
The mod is looking absolutely stunning and will probably be better than Fallout 4, but I really disliked the music choice for the trailer. Please, don't use a song that was made famous in another trailer: define your own style! Have a little imagination and use a song that most people wouldn't recognize, or one that they wouldn't recognize as "that song from X".
Sorry if I'm harsh, but I really disliked that. At least now the trailer isn't using any weird ENB, so I'm happy you took my previous criticism to heart.

Not harsh at all :D
I understand where you are coming from. Totally!
Here was my thought process on why the song was chosen.
You're absolutely correct it was beautifully used in War Thunder and looking through the comments the song was well liked. So that was my first check, if the song was well received. My second check point was the date of the video. It was 2 years ago so I believed it's been "long" enough to use the song again. Third check was the song in a foreign language and a lot of people would not recognize esp in the U.S. Even now in the comments and on Discord people are saying how they never heard of the song before and thanked me for sharing it with them.
So it goes down to this. I can't appease everyone but as long majority is happy, than that's what I roll with.
Sorry though, you didn't like the song :S
The song is great, it's just that 1) unless I'm wrong, Russia doesn't have much to do with the mod, so it's inappropriate. 2) people who know the song will immediately think of War Thunder, which has also nothing to do with this.
You could easily find a song that doesn't have those two problems and make everyone happy, do your own thing. I'll help you find it if you need next time!

Thanks for the offer, I will def considerate it for the next trailer. No hard feelings from me, I understand where you are coming with that.
It's really looking nice, and all these trailers are such a cocktease.
I'm really hooked on figuring out the story line. Hope you guys have a smooth release, whenever it is.
Looks really well made and detailed, a few kinks and and little dust to brush off and it will look fantastic! (not saying it already doesn't, but ya know what I mean)
Mind you, I'm completely lost. really futuristic looking weaponry, space walks and combat, super solider looking exo suits? where does this take place in post fallout america?
Really cool idea, but it doesn't scream fallout to me. I don't mean to be crude, its just really odd to see halo like weapons in a fallout game to me. Mind you more of those mad max style cars, never understood why none of the current fallout games have them. Its not like there isn't a mechanic who would know how to get the derelict road-side cars working some how.

You guys seem to have an interesting habit of choosing music that has already been in trailers for other video games. From Woodkid - Iron in your Premiere trailer, to New Order - Elegia in your teaser and now this. I haven't recognized the one in the "Let's have a blast" trailer, but I'm sure it is one. I'm not saying this is necessarily bad, especially because you guys do choose the best of the best, but you guys should seriously try and find music from outside of other video game trailers, because of the second point Loadingue brought up about how people who do know the song will immediately think of other games that have nothing to do with the vision you guys are trying to create.
my problem is the music isnt fitting at all for a fallout game trailer. theres a million other choices that would fit perfectly.
I never heard the song before so I was engulfed in the trailer. Beautiful mod. Absolutely looks like great work. I'll have to go back to New Vegas just to try it out. One of the best mods I've seen. What kind of overhauling details are we to expect? Does the website state all of it? Would like to ready my mods before hand for compatibility.
holy shit this looks good, might actually start playing new vegas again once this comes out.
The real question is. Is it compatible with sex mods. :v:

We try to show some cool stuff and not spoil too much. We also hope for smooth release. We constantly bug test it but that being said, players are really good finding strange, unusual, and hilarious bugs. Thanks for the support!

Hi, no worries about some confusion. The space level is not really our original idea and it actually is from the Van Buren (original Fallout 3) made by the original Fallout devs (before IP being sold to Bethesda). The last level of Van Buren was actually on the BOMB Station in space (now known as Archimedes II in NV). There are no super soldiers or exo suits in the Frontier. This takes place in Portland, Oregon. In the video you see some landmarks (Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade) and the Oregon flag. To get back to the space comment also, we started working on it because of high demand from the fallout community, just like making vehicles (can be upgraded), or bringing back the Enclave in a small way. The Frontier is built on what people wanted in a Fallout game but never got to experience. Since we're a mod, it's easier for us to take those risks than BGS.

Ah yes I am guilty of this. Although I had no control of the Woodkid Song and the Premier Trailer. I try to pick a "safe" music choice rather than some exotic one that may turn off people. I will def ask beforehand for trailer music suggestions and hold polls to see what people want.

Eh, I know where you're coming from but I thought it had a good WWII vibe. It's one of those things where each of us have own opinions.

Thank you for the comment :D. Website is a bit outdated, I'll have to work on it over winter break (last year in pharmacy school so I'm quite busy with academics during the school year). We have a mod compatibility sheet with all of the details that will obv be released before the mod. In terms of overhaul not sure what you are expecting. We try to leave NV vanilla but go bonkers in the Frontier.

New Vegas gave us wonderful memories. Time to give one last run :D, thanks!

This is so impressive for you guys; jesus man. What strides you guys made to make the mod look better and better. Some of those landscape shots are just gorgeous and you can tell this was made with love. I'll definitely give it a try.
More detail than a multi million dollar game company
Holy hell.
I know I saw new weapons, armour (and a couple old ones?) Enemies, those buildings looked custom too.
How much pre-existing stuff are you using because EVERYTHING looked custom?
Very good, just one suggestion. If you make another trailer, use some dialogue from your game, make sure its more than just fighting shown off.
The setpeices are breathtaking though, good job!

Yes we trusted the process, went through the motions and continued to work despite FO4 release. We spent a ton of time to bring one last unforgettable experience for our beloved New Vegas.

Right now we use a decent bit of vanilla assets but that's probably going to change over the course of development. We are using them as placeholders. Some of us are actual game dev (indie) with successful releases, and have accumulated over 500GB of custom assets that we are porting over slowly (pain in the ass to do). As you can tell some of it already made it over but we still have a lot of ports to do. We made new creatures with new animations/abilities to make Frontier more interesting and worth exploring. There's a good chance the final iteration of Frontier won't look anything like the one shown in the video. Thank you for the wonderful comment, it humbles us!

Yes we wanted to do a voiced trailer for a long time but ran into issues with that. But that is most def in our plans. We did experiment on small trailer hosted on a different channel. Thank you for the love :D

This looks amazing for a NV mod, really looking forward to this
Also mad respect for how much is custom and how detailed it is for the piece of crap that's Gamebyro
Holy Christ on a bicycle, the animations on those Howitzers are impressive!
Second, holy shit can we use Howitzers?
your new trailer sells it better than half of the AAA game trailers do

Howitzers are "creatures" you fight and also yes you can use them.

Thank you. That is a very humbling comment. We're just people trying to have fun and share that fun with other people.

We took some influence and studied the details of recent popular games. In addition we studied the trends in the Fallout community and added features/ideas in what people thought FO4 lacked, such as vehicles, a space level etc.
