You can only buy one game per year?

Sucks to be you if you only buy one game a year.
Can't wait
Sucks to be you if you only buy one game a year.
It's hard to spend money if you don't have income, so 1 game is enough for me.
So your parents buy you one game a year?
Sell the game after you've finished it, that way you can buy more than 1 game a year.
Didn't understand too much because of the raped sound quality but DAMN it look so...fluent!
It's not the first miutes of the game goddmanit. It's just some random moments from the first few chapters in the game.

No? The end is random chapters, otherwise it is the beginning of the game.

How do you know? Valve have never ever showed the very beginning of any of their singleplayer games because that would be stupid. I believe there is a little gameplay (5-10 minutes) before the room. Maybe it starts somewhere right after new ending of Portal 1.
The engine of this gives me hope for HL2 Episode 3, as well as the atmosphere. Nice job Valve!
I wish I could afford this.. :smith:

There's probably not much gameplay before that, maybe a splash screen of the logo. Of course you could argue about the apparent ambiguity of their words, but they told us it was the first few minutes of Portal 2, so it's safe to assume that's true.

Valve rep even says it's the first several minutes or so. If waking up in the suspension room isn't the -very- beginning, then it's very close to it.
I refuse to read or watch anything at all (except a trailer or two), I want it to be a surprise!

Can't do that with Steam.
Seriously? Another mute character?
Seriously? Another mute character?
I personally prefer mute characters. It lets me project my thoughts and personality onto them instead of being forced to deal with my character being however they are.
The best part about Valve's mute characters is that Valve always sets up the environment and story to make you forced by higher powers to do what you do. So while everyone, despite having their personalities projected onto the character, is forced to make the same decisions throughout the story, it's done in a way where the player accepts that it just can't be helped.
this looks awesome
preordering tomorrow
In other news this made me preorder Portal 2, though I still have my doubts. I mainly want information on the Half Life series, like there was information in Portal 1

I spend more money on computer stuff, My parents of course for my B-day or Christmas get me stuff and money, but I don't like spending, I'm saving for something, I have about 2000$ in the bank, but I never use my card. Games aren't really worth the money unless it's good.

Oh god that glass looks amazing :byodood:
I want to watch this so damn badly, but I don't want to ruin the first few minutes for me.
Oh Smerch. Your Brizzle voice is great.
