Brand recognition. After both medal of honor games flopped it was probably suggested by someone up top that maybe they should just go with the Battlefield name for their annual shooter releases.
I remember some company pitched this sort of game idea where it was Battlefield with Cops vs Robbers. Its so blatant that they took that idea (unless Visceral were the ones that actually pitched that idea)
