This is a "choose your own adventure" type interactive dealie, although this is fairly different from most other forum games. I'm looking for a more straightforward and streamlined forum game experience, plus decent storytelling and art on top of that. This isn't an original idea though, I saw a setup near identical to this on the SA forums, and I decided to use that as a base for this, I'd been wanting to do it for some time. It's not plagiarism if I say they did it first :c00l: how i does Before I get into the story, i'll explain how the game works. The four options on the bottom are your choices, and according to votes by people on the forums, that action gets acted out. If it's reasonable you can act out multiple actions. You can act out something not given if enough people vouch for it. Think outside of the box. There's no definite health or inventory system as there's multiple ways that can go wrong, instead the appropriate action will be taken for that thing, EG If you fall off of a building you're going to break some legs. That's what the blown-up icon of you is for. The hearts are vitality, if they reach zero it's not good but it's not catastrophic. You can only hold what is reasonable, none of this INVENTORY SLOTS or BACKPACK shit. You have pockets, you can find a backpack if you want. There's a near infinite possibility as to what can happen. who am i You play as Steve, a college student living at home with your parents over the summer. Your parents are off on vacation so you're home alone. You've been with them for about a month into summer, and they left you there for a cruise vacation in the Bahamas two weeks ago. You're not used to the city they're in as, they moved into another house from the one you grew up in. You have very little contacts in the city, too. what is going on As to what happened? At about 8 pm on a Saturday the local tornado sirens went off, which was nothing unusual. You made your way to the tornado shelter under your house, which is well furnished due to the frequency of tornadoes in your area, and eccentricity of your parents. Both radio and TV signals are broadcasting the same emergency broadcast on a loop: "The president has activated the emergency alert system for ares currently under millitary supervision. The areas affected are under attack by foreign forces, and citizens are advised to stay in their homes. This warning is estimated to last for an unknown amount of time. Updates on the current situation will be dispatched by the emergency alert system." That's... not good. There's no problems from outside of the cellar, but after a few hours distant rumbling can be heard, none of it familiar. You fall asleep around midnight, after eating some of the MREs stashed in storage, and wake up at around 10 in the morning. Here's where I give it to you. What now?

Revision: each option now has a letter. Use it. Seriously. Also it's late so i didn't do all the art. i promise not to copout too much. consider copout pages comedy pages Fiddle with radio/Grab supplies The radio is still repeating the same emergency broadcast, and slowly listening through the AM frequencies gives nothing. The FM frequencies are the same, except 95.5, which seems to be a pirate broadcast or amateur override broadcast. It's nearly inaudible except for a few garbled bits of what might be speech, in between static. You vaguely remember that being a music station but you don't listen to the radio much. The storage cupboard has about two weeks worth of MRE's, various survival tools and such. It's all useful but you're in no hurry, you grab a maglite flashlight (or at least a knockoff), a swiss army knife and a zippo lighter. Now you feel like you're ready to leave. The real question is, how do you get out of the shelter?
