Do other countries celebrate it on different days, or dates? I'm confused. :crying: Edit: oh shit this is ment to be fast threads sozza
Are you seriously not familiar with the concept of time zones?

It doesn't get dark in Melbourne until like 9:30pm during Summer... Where are you? It's Christmas in 4 hours and 44 minutes for me.
Time zones anyone?
of course i am, i'm just confused :eng99:
Confusion is the opposite of familiarity.
Global Date Line? It's in the atlantic sea. So right now it's 2:00 AM on the 24th for me.
There was also the case of Denmark and Sweden (and others I'm sure) who celebrate on the 24th. OP, the US is about 16 hours behind us (AEST).
New York, USA, EST zone Twenty hours, twenty-five minutes. At midnight (Christmas day), we get to open one present. Then, later in the morning, we open the rest of our presents. Now, I wonder, how many of my ancestors bugged the shit out of their parents to have this tradition put in place?
Some people have Christmas on the 24th, some the 25th. 24th in Denmark etc and 25th in England. The Dutch had their Sinterklaas thing week or so ago now too. (I think maybe even some do it on the 26th but don't know/can't remember where). All of you spamming "Timezones" are idiots. [editline]08:37AM[/editline] Oops forgot to click post and got ninja'd. Rating self clock :(

It's getting dark for me, and I'm in Australia. Townsville, North Queensland. The time's 6:40.
The information in this thread needs to be stickied so that people don't keep asking why everyone's saying it's Christmas. In two or three hours the New Zealand folk will be celebrating, in four the Aussies will.

Yeah, Canberra does pretty much suck. The sky is pretty much covered with clouds here, but usually it'd still be light/orange. Now it's blue.
It's cloudy here too. Dude, like no bands come to Canberra. It sucks. :frown:
