Tanya Weyker of Milwaukee, Wisconsin has been fighting for over a year to clear her name and get her medical bills paid following a serious car accident with a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputy. WITI Fox6 investigated Weyker’s story in depth and reported about her ongoing struggle. It all started on the night of February 20, 2013, when Deputy Joseph Quiles, with the airport division of the Sheriff’s Office, T-boned Weyker’s Camry, sending it spinning into a tree. It would be discovered later that Weyker broke her neck in four places. She told the station, “It was a miracle I wasn’t paralyzed.”
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/oddnews/%E2%80%98suspicious%E2%80%99--sober-driver-arrested-for-drunk-driving-after-deputy-runs-stop-sign-and-crashes-into-her-car-213839328.html
This is bullshit, and the state should file criminal charges against all officers involved in mishandling this situation. I'm surprised the security footage didn't conveniently go "missing".
They should be fired, fined, imprisoned, and prevented from holding any position of authority for the rest of their lives.
sickening how the most they will most likey get is paid leave. fuck, why is everything so shit
This is why somebody has to do unto the scumbag policeman as he's done unto this poor woman.
The article said that the cop was suspended For 9 days
Pretty much most cops in any situation, I got to a 4 way stop sign and i got there 3-4 seconds before the cop car, I go first and he looks pissed as shit since I didn't let him go with his bullshit rolling stop. Tailed me for 3 blocks bumper to bumper
So the cop can run a stop sign at what looks like 45+ mph to cause that much damage and send her car into a tree, and she's the one at fault for being "drunk"? Fuck off. Even if she was hammered, that reckless cop should lose his job and have his pension dipped into to pay her bills.
Ten months after the accident, after a Sheriff’s Office internal investigation, Quiles admitted that his first statements were wrong and that he was at fault for the accident. Quiles was suspended for nine days for the accident, but never punished for his false report, despite, WITI notes, “a previous history of discipline for filing reports written by someone else.”
Wow...
This is why somebody has to do unto the scumbag policeman as he's done unto this poor woman.
i volunteer wholeheartedly
Why should I fallow the law when the ones supposed to uphold it don't?
Why should I fallow the law when the ones supposed to uphold it don't?
Remember a few bad apples spoil the bunch and why would you want to be a rotten apple?
Why should I fallow the law when the ones supposed to uphold it don't?
Well, here's a way of thinking about it: This is what happens to someone who's following the law. Imagine what happens to the ones breaking it. (Note, this is not a belief I subscribe to, because as far as I'm aware, the majority of cops aren't like this guy)
Why should I fallow the law when the ones supposed to uphold it don't?
Nope. Correcting yourself means one less rogue in the world for a start. Doing something on the bandwagon just because they didn't uphold the law doesn't make it any less dumb. We always have to try doing the right things no matter how uphill the path may look.
These two posts seem to be contradicting eachother
I'm entitled to my personal opinion on something, even if it doesn't follow the mindset of the majority. Believe you me, most people would be thinking the same if it happened to them. Only truly merciful folk will find it in them to be forgiving. I still think he should end up in the same situation somehow, nevertheless.
and now hes gonna get a much harsher punishment and the sheriff's office will act like this is a huge scandal because they never care until they get bad publicity
The article said that the cop was suspended For 9 days
Wow what the fuck, how does this even happen? It's scary to think that cops can get away with this kinda shit.
Why should I fallow the law when the ones supposed to uphold it don't?
Because if you don't let the law fallow, it won't have time to build back up the nutrients needed to sprout a good harvest next crop season.
