The first glimpse of the long-awaited return of Max Payne - in action. Coming March 2012 to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Still haunted by the memories of his traumatic past, Max begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy industrialist and his family in São Paulo, Brazil. When gangs target the family under his protection, Max is forced to fight to save his clients and clear his name, in a bid to, once and for all, rid himself of the demons that have tortured him for far too long. Looks pretty good. Still can't trust the claim of "this trailer was made entirely from in-game footage" though.
It actually looks good.
I wish there was more!
I feel like playing through the old Max Paynes again!
Oh god, Euphoria in a Max Payne game. Can it get any better?
March couldn't come any sooner!
Doesn't look half as bad as I thought it would. I'll probably end up buying it after all.
Looks quite good, doesn't look as gritty as the first two though. Looks a bit more generic gun+run. I'll probably end up getting it at some point.
I still wish Remedy was a part of it.
I still wish Remedy was a part of it.
You know for the longest, this thought has also been running through my head. But in the end, I rationalised down to the following point. Rockstar took over fully after having published the prior two, atleast at the end of the day, the same companies are involved. Further to the point, Rockstar tend to make such awesome games, they sell plenty of units and usually for a good reason. So hopefully Rockstar won't mess around with this game. Fingers are crossed.
First thing that came to mind when he was done shaving his head
I like rockstar, they are starting to go into older franchises with the mentality of "hey lets, pick up a liked game that the developers don't want to expand on it anymore and make it even better." It's a shame that they only do shooters, (and table tennis) I would like to see them expand their catalog. But hey, its better to stick with what you know, and they know FPS's very well.

Eurgh, why didn't he just shave his beard instead of his hair?
Eurgh, why didn't he just shave his beard instead of his hair?
Jesus had a beard, you don't hate Jesus do you? ;)
Fuck yeah slo-mo jumps and bullet time
Fuck yeah slo-mo jumps and bullet time
All the way through the trailer i was waiting to see just that! So awesome!
Eurgh, why didn't he just shave his beard instead of his hair?
Because virtual characters have no will of their own.
Because virtual characters have no will of their own.
Very true lol. Also the thing regarding the beard that is pretty darn obvious is the fact they wanted to cover up the new "Max face". I mean he looks pretty different, you can see at the beginning of the trailer. Its an easy cop-out to keep fans somewhat "more satisfied" in my opinion. With the beard he looks quite a lot like the old Max from Max Payne 2, however without it, he looks..... Yup.

Beard is there because it adds to that 'crazy' look, I think you're looking too deeply into it. Not to mention he's older now.
Well, it looks better than the few pictures released few months back. I can forget about the bald direction but they really changed his face.
reminded me of bruce willis
Wait a minute now... It said PC DVD Rom at the end of the trailer. Is this game going to get released on the PC? Well shit, i hope it wont be a shitty console port.
That's usually what it means, yes :downs:
I hope that the "Gears of Willis" implications turn out to be minor.
I just hope to God it doesn't turn out generic and short for the singleplayer. I'm a multiplayer guy but when it comes down to Max Payne for one, I love singleplayer campaigns.

Well, I'm hoping anyway :P
No more of those comics?
