The sniper takes up a quick aim, aiming for the head of the first soldier. He silences his radio, and signals to the tank to hold his fire. Sooner or later these pigs'll find out what we want from them .. their blood .. in their land.

The machine gunner shoots as soon as he sees the sniper, but he doesn't hit him. One bullet loses almost all his power as it penetrates the sand, and leaves a small mark on the coat.
The rifleman throws his smoke grenade, hoping for a good cover.
The last man of the squad comes in.

The sniper quickly pulls the trigger, and hopes for the best.
In the back, the MP40 guy, Hanz, got scared by the shooting and accidentally pulled the trigger, letting out 3 bullets.

The machine gunner unleashes more shots as soon as he realises his helmet got shot off. The Rifleman shoots and hits the scope of the sniper, destroying it, but not hurting the sniper.
The machine gunner uses the smoke in order to protect him.

The tank fires, ,leaving behind some barrelfire and some smoke. In the meanwhile the 2 captains start moving upwards, one radioing to the HQ that we need backup. One squad will arrive.
The MP40 soldier, being scared by the shot nearby, takes aim at the enemy.

Huzzah for crappy tank-shell impact. The MP40 guy, having taken aim, fires off 3 short shots, heading for the enemy. The guy in the tunnel, amazed by the sounds above him readies himself, aiming for the entrance to the tunnel. The other guy goes near the other guy, and asks him; what is happening?!

A T-44 joins the battle. The Machine gunner explodes, while the Rifleman got hit by bullets.

A new squad arrives, one having a kar 98 with a grenade launcher montaged onto it.
The 2 guys, seeing the tank quickly pull back. As the tank hears/sees the enemy tank it quickly begins reloading.

It has a muzzle cap on it that alows modified grenades to be shot out of it... look:

They just shoot a round into the back of it and that arms it and propels it towards your foe!

I'm quite a newbie here, try some other matches, they do way better than me.
I don't really know what defines a 'good' player but you seem to be doing well.

Are there any GIMP tutorials for a newb? I would LOVE to start playing PW instead of lurking.
Most of us use MSpaint or Paint.net ( not sure on the latter. )
I hate paint. Mainly because I don't know how to use it. :P
I guess it's simple actually. Just making 25 pixel high soldiers. I'll give it a go at the weekend.
