That is pretty much my question. What is the best job you could get if you just left school and are looking to get a good amount of cash in your pocket? What I mean by "best entry-level job" I mean jobs that pay well, don't require any experience in a similar role and don't require qualifications like a degree or some kind of certificate.
Honestly, Wal-Mart's pretty good. Highest paying starting position in my neck of the woods. 2 bucks above minimum wage. Everything else is shit.

biowaste disposal - severed limbs at crime scenes, prison matresses etc etc pays really quite well for an entry level job but you really don't want to do it
grocery store
Pizza Delivery, depending on where you live. I got started at 5.50 an hour and avg'd about 10 to 20 in tips an hour on top of that.
Pimp/drug dealer

You won't get that much today without a degree unless you're insanely street smart and can play the economy. Stay in school, listen to your parents, and go to college.
male prostitute
Biowaste sounds awesome. 130 post in one day is enough, Night all. If I do 130 a day every day, I'll get 2000 post in 15 days.
Sounds like a fun job.
most people can't do it, so the pay is great [editline]11:25AM[/editline]
Biowaste sounds awesome. 130 post in one day is enough, Night all. Look online for jobs if your area, my first job was on an assembly line making $14 an hour. That sure as hell beat flipping burgers or whatever else my friends were doing at the time, not to mention it looks a lot more impressive on a resume.
Applied Materials in Austin, Tx. $13.00 hr. through a temp. service of course. [editline]08:38PM[/editline]
Pizza Delivery, depending on where you live. Street Sweeper
Pizza Delivery, depending on where you live. I got started at 5.50 an hour and avg'd about 10 to 20 in tips an hour on top of that.
Seconded. I am a deliver guy at dominos, which nets me $7.25/hr PLUS tips, so I'm making roughly $15-20/hr in my neighborhood. It's hella easy, all you have to do is drive around, smoke cigarettes, listen to music, and hand people shit. You don't have to share the tips - everything goes in your pocket. So the friendlier you are the more money you make, essentially. It's great fun!
Bank teller.
Really lucky CEO of your own shitty company
Pizza Delivery, depending on where you live. I got started at 5.50 an hour and avg'd about 10 to 20 in tips an hour on top of that.
This. If you are good, you make an assload. Last friday I made on average $20/hr for a 4 hour shift taking into account my commision and tips plus my hourly wage. $7.30/hr (min wage)+$54 in tips an commisions. Our best driver (who is also one of the best in the chain) makes $500 every week. He works 36-38 hours a week though. Only problem is around here, it's such a sought after part time job that you'll be lucky to get it unless you have experience working in other entry-level part time jobs and such. The only reason my application was considered at first was because I had target and skyline (retail customer service and food service) experience rolled into one. Sure I spend $30 in gas every week, but considering that's less moeny than I make in a single 4 hour shift it's a small price to pay. Though I've not been doing it long enough to see the long term wear and tear effects on the car.

Hold a sign that says NIPPLE RUBBINGS 2 DOLLARS.
Labourer, better yet, trade assistant.
Really lucky CEO of your own shitty company
This If you get lucky with a lucrative trade or business (or start a fad like fropzen yogurt) you'll be raking in the millions. But as example has shown, your lack of experience will lead you to wasting those said lucrative millions.

I am a cashier at Albertsons, I make 14.50 an hour. First job I ever got.
This is my 3rd job, but I suppose it would be considered Entry level, prior two jobs were in unrelated areas and pretty much just physical labor. This job, I work at a datacenter, monitor customers servers and datacenter environment, answer customer phone calls and solve their problems. $17.31 an hour with no degrees or certifications. I got pretty damn lucky though.
biowaste disposal - severed limbs at crime scenes, prison matresses etc etc pays really quite well for an entry level job but you really don't want to do it
I'd do it.
I have a library that pays be 8 pounds an hour to sit around and read books. and very rarely help someone find a book. Read a book get £50. Nice job.
