I finally did it. I had a full blown Inception dream.

So, some of you may remember my posts in the Sleep and Dreams thread where I discussed my attempts at the Inception scenario. Last night, I was finally able to do it. If you've read my Megathread and think it's completely stupid, then you should probably just stop reading, because it's going to get even weirder as this thing goes on.
So, after seeing the movie, I realized several things. One, that it will probably be difficult, and two, that it would take a long time to accomplish. But I did it, and here's how.
First, I was able to train my subconscious to divide itself into six separate entities, mimicking the characters in Inception. Then it was simple to give each different personalities. I basically just anchored dream characters in different scenarios, which is harder than it sounds.
The hardest part was training my brain to develop complex scenarios and scenery without allowing me to consciously know the layout. That is, it would generate a location and I would not know where things were (effectively allowing me to experience it in real time). I did train that, though, and after that it was fairly simple.
I started the dream by assembling my team in a field. I had an Architect (looked like Ellen Page), a conman, a computer nerd, the regular guy along for the ride (he died), and a weapons expert for the hell of it. Once we were assembled, I fell asleep in the field and went down into another level (falling asleep in a dream generally leads to a dream within a dream. This is why you can wake up in a dream but still be dreaming.)
In this next level, we were in a skyscraper that was in the middle of construction. Our goal was simply to get to the top of the building, where we would find the next clue. (Again, I had no knowledge of anything that was happening, other than where I needed to go. I didn't know the layout of the building, and I didn't know where any enemies would show up, and I didn't know what would happen next). I'll skip the details, but suffice to say we made it to the roof without any casualties or serious injuries. On the roof was simply a bed, just a metal frame and bare mattress (think Fallout 3). I fell asleep on that as well and dropped another layer.
This time, we were in a cave of some kind. There was a very low ceiling, but the edges were so far apart that I couldn't see them. In the center of this cave was an old man wearing a suit. He presented me with a puzzle and told me if I solved it I could pass, but otherwise I would be killed. The computer geek tried to object but was promptly vaporized. One down.
I looked down at his puzzle and realized it was a Rubiks cube with every side completed except one, which was impossible to solve. I thought about it for a long time, tried every possible combination, then gave up and just shot him in the face. As he fell, he melted and started to spread around the floor. All of a sudden, ten popped up in his place. Then a hundred, and then a thousand, and then we were completely surrounded by creepy old guys in suits. I wondered what to do and then my weapons expert suggested we pop a flare to see just how grim our chances were. As he lit the flare, I realized that it was a terrible idea. As soon as the fire ignited, hundreds of men jumped on him, punching and biting. He was reduced to a red puddle in seconds. My con-man tried to reason with them, and while he seemed to be making progress, it wasn't getting us anywhere. Then I remembered I was dreaming, which was a lucky break. I used dream logic to solve the impossible rubiks cube, and we were allowed to pass to the final level. Again, a bed appeared. I was, however, told to sacrifice two people in order to proceed. I chose the Con-Man and the ordinary guy, because i figured I'd probably need the Architect, dream or not.
In the final level, it was just me and the Architect. We were together, standing on a patch of grass no more than 15' x 15'. Surrounding that patch of grass, the universe was falling apart. Planets were on fire, stars were exploding, the moon was crumbling. It was amazing. A bed appeared in the middle of the patch, but it wasn't like the others. It was furnished and looked extremely comfortable. I realized that there was only one thing I could do in that situation. All that existed in the world was me, an Architect (remember, looked like Ellen Page), an exploding universe, and a bed.
You can guess what happened next.
And then I woke up. (And woke up and woke up and woke up and then actually woke up.)
tl;dr inception scenario + sex with ellen page
The reason this is such a big deal is because, to my knowledge, nothing like this has been attempted before (with successful results). So I thought I'd share this with you guys. I'll probably get boxes, but whatever. It was cool.

How do you know if you're still dreaming or not?
how so can i do

You can tell after a while. No matter how real a dream feels, there are things that give it away.
Never mind, too deep.

I tried, but I figured universe collapsing levels were probably far enough. I'm scared to see what happens if I go further.
Take your Ritalin, OP.
Okay, thanks for telling us about your dream.
I wish I could do shit like this
So much work to get laid in a dream.

Such as the jumpiness of the "scenes". Usually when I have dreams I end up looking somewhere and then I'm in a whole different room or the room I'm in becomes bigger or smaller.
Take your Ritalin, OP.
Yes, OP. Interesting endeavors and curiosity are signs of serious mental conditions. You might want to get that checked.
I want to see this movie.

The funny thing about that is I didn't know that that was going to happen, I was just winging it. My desires for scientific pursuits apparently weren't greater than my desire to fuck Ellen Page. Go figure.
Ahahaha sure hon.
The dreams from my childhood that I prominently remember involve war, genocide, and gendercide. Good stuff.
I still don't know how you remembered it all, I'm calling bullshit.
bullshit

Read the Megathread, dude. It's called Lucid Dreaming.

It's bullshit, nonetheless.
I was excited when I saw that movie as well.

It most certainly is not. How's it bullshit?

You sick fuck.
Here's what I think really happened.
You didn't train yourself, you just thought way to much about lucid dreaming and Inception, therefore you had a dream and in your dream you thought you were lucid, but you really were not, thus the dream turning into inception style because you have been fixating on it, It may seem as if you were fully pro tricking your brain when really it was the brain that was tricking you and you just had a normal dream that was extra vivid because of your lucid dreaming practices and dream recall abilities. All in all it was just a weird dream you had by fixating on movies a little to much.
Not meaning to be offensive or anything, this is only my opinion but I occasionally thought you were full of shit in your mega-thread but this is just to far fetched.
You wasted a lot of time going trough dreams and stuff. Why didn't you just fuck her right at the start? :v:
I've had a dream where I went to sleep and had another dream.

The reward is always more sweet if one has worked hard to attain it
And if he went through different dream layers to witness the destruction of the universe it must have been pretty sweet
For some reason or another, I get pissed off when people talk about dreaming.
I have no idea why it annoys me so much.

When you have sex in a dream, it is very likely that you get too excited and wake up, so if you want to go out with a bang or after you done all you planned to do, sex would be it.
You sick fuck.
It's not like I liked it, or was even able to appreciate it at the time. I remember learning about Hitler and getting some serious deja vu.
I do admit I had strange complex dream next day after I watched Inception. It was weird and cool at the same time.
