• Can I possibly get some advice for high school?

I figured this wasn't really a "school" thread, rather advice for, so if I'm wrong I'll serve my ban time without complaint. Before you start insulting my age, hear me out. I started using the Internet on dial-up when I was in kindergarten or about there. I played Reader Rabbit and such. I think the first website I was on was Newgrounds in 2004. On their BBS I constantly heard how high school was shitty, how much work they gave you, how authors had to delay making animations due to the work load and etc. The day that I would enter high school seemed so far away and non-existant from my 3rd grader brain. In two weeks I'll be entering high school, going from top dog to low man on the totem pole. I'm the type of kid that came to the realization that my childhood (or what's left of it) is ticking on a 4 year timer, and quite frankly I'm frightened at the thought. If I could get any good, sane advice for high school, I'd be ever grateful. The only current advice I've gotten is from my cousin who just graduated this past year. His words were simple: "Stay outta dodge." EDIT: I need boxes for my school supplies, sweet.
If you don't speak unless spoken to, they will spare you from the rapings
Punch everyone in the face as a greeting. No "Hi", fuck shaking hands that's a bitch move. Pop 'em in the face. Once for "Hello" twice for "Hi I want to be friends" Trust me it works like a charm.
As long as you know some highschoolers that you already know and can hang out with, you're set for now. From there you'll eventually break off from your original group and make more and more friends. Also, only idiots still believe in Freshman Friday. At least, around here they do when we don't do that at all anymore. Also, be nice but don't be a push-over.
High school has been a fucking breeze so far. I don't understand why there are so many horror stories about it.

I don't know how High Schools work in the state, but at my school atleast, everyone was really chill, the teachers were a lot cooler, everyone eats away from the school (At middle school, we ate in the classroom. Shit was lame), and when you hit your last year, or near the end of your 2nd to last year, you get to drive. Deadlines are usually less strict too, and teachers are less bitchy because they don't chase after you for work (More college/university oriented). Basically, middle school is lame and high school is less lame.

I always thought that'd be an advantage.
Same shit as middle schools Expect to find some gays now and then
it's really not a big deal.
Same shit as middle schools Expect to find some gays now and then
Irony at it's best.
High school is not a big deal, just don't take shit from anyone.
Just be really chill with the seniors and you'll have a good time in high school. In fact the first people I started talking to were the seniors, they're just more mature and much more fun to talk to.

I remember in my first year of high school, some nice guys in their last year made friends with me and we played catch all break once. I was the ball.
What state are you in OP?
What state are you in OP?
Massachusetts. I guess it's not as obvious for people who don't watch hockey (my avatar is the state professional hockey team's logo)
It helps to have friends who are already in highschool.
Irony at it's best.
expect to find a real large array of culture gays, lesbians, maybe some race you haven't seen yet nothing like middle school even though there is a lot more work, it is enjoyable work because you are learning more interesting things
Remember middle school? It's like that but the tits are bigger and the guys are douchier.
It's easy. Advice given.
Make sure to bring a katana with the name of your highschool on it. Stab anyone and everyone on the first day, it's a test.

It sounds like your well prepared for the last step in mandatory (free) education, really the best advice I can give is, treasure it, because many people look back on those years as some of the best of their life. You'll realize how good you had it in High School after you graduate and you have to think about college. You get all kinds of sweet ass things going on like driving yourself places and parties and all the fun things that go on at parties. Yet you still get free room and board, and don't have to deal with some of life's shittier responsibilities that come with age. Live that shit up! :woop:
From my original group of 9 friends at the end of middle school (As you call it) only 2 of them are left. My other friends either went to another school, or moved to another place. It does help if you have a lot of friends before you head to high school, that way you won't feel left out if you do meet new people.
I'd make a "I'll beat Cho's high score" joke but I'm not that much of an insensitive bastard....yet.
Ohohoho killing innocent people is funny as fuck right guys
Once you get in the habit of things, you realize that high school is just entering first period, sitting down, shutting up, listening just barely enough to do your homework, then leaving for your next period. But of course you make the best friends you'll ever have up until that point, and those people make the day worth getting up for.
expect to find a real large array of culture gays, lesbians, maybe some race you haven't seen yet nothing like middle school even though there is a lot more work, it is enjoyable work because you are learning more interesting things
This is the best and most useful response you will get.
Ohohoho killing innocent people is funny as fuck right guys
It's usually what you see. In my experience anyway, not that I ever engage in that type of tomfoolery.
It's usually what you see. In my experience anyway, not that I ever engage in that type of tomfoolery.
Homicide =/= Tomfoolery
Manslaughter =/= Tomfoolery
You're preaching to the choir. EDIT: It's homicide, not manslaughter. Manslaughter is murder without intent to kill.
If fitting in is what you're worried about, do sports.
